| Hallo Zusammen,

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>vor nunmehr 4 Wochen ist unser Neuer namens Muffin (ein einsames kastriertes Böckchen dass ich von einem Arbeitskollegen loseisen konnte) bei uns eingezogen und seit zwei Wochen mit meinen beiden Mädels vergesellschaftet. Die Vergesellschaftung war ein Traum, zwei Tage flog ein wenig Fell, seitdem herrscht tiefer Frieden. Aber darum gehts eigentlich garnicht, mein Problem ist ein ganz anderes.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Damit dass die beiden Mädels sich absolut nicht anfassen lassen habe ich mich abgefunden. Hochheben und rumschleppen ist eh nicht mein Ding, streicheln muss auch nicht wenn sie nicht wollen. Futter aus der Hand klappt prima, während die Beiden am zähen Apfelring zerren kann man auch sowas wie ne Gesundheitskontrolle machen. Transportbox geht mit viel List und Tücke, allerdings auch Stress (mehr noch für mich als für die Mädels).

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Einmal, ein einziges Mal habe ich die Mädels hochgehoben. Mit Leckerlie angelockt und dann geschnappt. Resultat: Cookie hat mich so zerkratzt dass mich meine Kollegen gefragt haben ob ich im <class="markcol">span class="markcol">Brclass="markcol">span>ombeergestrüpp wohne. Krümel war total panisch und hat geqiekt. Danach...nie mehr.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Und jetzt der Neue, Muffin - beim Vorbesitzer ließ er sich problemlos fassen. Allerdings auch nicht weiter verwunderlich in dem kleinen Käfig, wohin sollte er auch. angeblich kam er auch Abends aufs Sofa und hat sich streicheln lassen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Seit er hier ist hält er immer gesunden Abstand von uns, schleicht zwar neigierig um uns und die Mädels rum wenn die Leckerlies aus der Hand bekommen, aber selber welche nehmen? No way...
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Hier wars die ersten zwei Wochen im Quarantänegehege auch ohne Probleme möglich sich den Guten zur Gesundheitskontrolle oder um ihn in die Transportbox zu verfrachten zu packen. Kaninchen nehmen wie in den Tipps hier beschrieben, anschauen, loslassen, fertig. Heute dachte ich dann es müsste mal wieder so weit sein aber...keine Chance. Muffin hat gequiekt, gestrampelt, ich hab losgelassen und - bin völlig fertig mit den Nerven.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Langsam verzweifele ich echt, zumindest Muffin als Löwchen mitten im Fellwechsel müsste dringend mal gebürstetwerden. Und wie mache ich das wenn einer mal Medikamente <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>aucht?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>ja, manche Kaninchen sind da sehr emsig, wenn es darum geht, sich zu wehren.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Was ich dir als Tipp geben kann: Ein beherzter Griff, ruhig bleiben und zügig kontrollieren, so geht es schneller für Mensch und Tier vorbei und im schlimmsten Fall zu zweit arbeiten, z.B. beim Krallenschneiden ist das sehr hilfreich.

| Mein Freund ich und machen sowas dann zu zweit. einer geht hin und fängt und hält dann eben fest, der andere schaut schnell nach oder kürzt die Krallen. Allein bekomm ich da auch die Krise. Bei Molly gehts auch wenn die sich immer rausstrampelt aber Baghira ist da ganz schlimm wenn der nur merkt ich will was von ihm dann wird geklopft, geknirscht und gezwickt....aber zu zweit geht sowas....oder versuchen die einzuschleimen um sie zutraulicher zu machen das sie net ganz so extrem vor die abhauen^^ |

Also ich kann zu 100% nachvollziehen wie es dir geht denn ich hab hier genauso 2 Exemplare.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie einfach sitzen gelassen im Gehege, bissi am Kopf gekrault und die Vorderpfötchen konnten ohne Probleme gemacht werden, hinten - No chance, da packt sie die Pfötchen so unter sich, dass man nicht mehr ran kommt!

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Er nur gestrampelt und gezappelt und er ist glücklicherweise dann so zur "Ruhe" gekommen, das er zwischen meinen Beinen saß, den Kopf versteckt und wir konnten in Ruhe die Krallen schneiden.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich frage mich allerdings auch, wie das mal wird, wenn Medi´s anstehen - ich glaube danach muss man mich einliefern

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Vielleicht dauert es bei dem kleinen einfach noch ein wenig, bis er sich an dich und die neue Umgebung und vielleicht auch die neue Behandlung gewöhnt hat! Mein Floppy (er) ist nun seit einem 3/4 Jahr hier und hat auch immer noch Angst, obwohl es wirklich schon besser geworden ist im Gegensatz zu "früher"

Hatte bisher mehr mit Pferden zu tuen, da kann ich dem Tierarzt bei den blutigsten Behandlungen helfen und notfalls selber spritzen und so, das macht mir garnichts.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Beherzt schnappen, und dann? Festhalten wenn sie strampeln? Wann wieder loslassen? Was wenn Krümel wieder so quiekt?
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Und wenn der Leckerlietrick nicht klappt? In eine Ecke treiben? 6m² Gehege können halt verdammt groß sein.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wäre es möglich die Nins einzeln mit Welpengittern in eine Ecke zu treiben und dann zu schnappen? So Cow-Cutting mäßig. Oder ist das noch mehr Stress?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Krallen schneiden musst eich bisher zum Glück noch nicht, Sandkiste sei dank. Aber trotzdem - irgendwie muss das besser werden weil wie schon gesagt - was wäre wenn jemand Medis bekommen muss.

Ne, glaub mir, ich kenn das wie gesagt auch zur Genüge! *g*

Ich habe auch immer Angst, dass die Schnubbis an nem Herzkasper strerben wenn ich sie hoch nehme oder dass sie sich irgendwas quetschen weil sie so zappeln und ich sie falsch halte... Um das zu umgehen, kannst du sie evtl. straff in ein Handtuch einwickeln und zusätzlich noch versuchen die Augen ein wenig zu zu decken, damit sie diesen "Höhleneffekt" haben.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich kann auch nur eine "oberflächliche" Kontrolle machen und wenn ich Glück habe halt auch mal bissi Bauch abtasten oder halt mit der Hand die Blume und den Genitalbereich befühlen ob da was verkrustet ist. Die beiden auf den Rücken drehen und das "ordentlich" machen, geht mal garnicht. Auch die Geschlechtsecken kann ich net wirklich sauber machen, weil ich garnicht ran komme.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Also ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, das meine nicht nachtragend waren wenn ich etwas mit ihnen gemacht habe was ihnen nicht gepasst hat. Klar, Tiffy war dann immer bissi beleidigt aber spät. am nächsten Tag war es wieder gut.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Was das Üben angeht... Ich denke man kann das schon in kleinen Dosen täglich machen und wenn es erst mal nur ist, ein Leckerlie in die Hand nehmen und ihm vor die Nase halten und schauen was er macht. Einfach den Kontakt suchen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich habe mich bei den beiden z.B. schon des Öfteren ins Gehege gelegt und sie beobachtet, einfach nur da sein. Floppy z.B. stups ich jeden Morgen und Abend wenn ich aufsteh bzw. nach Hause komm mit dem Finger die Nase an und sag so dann quasi "Hallo". Tiffy graule ich immer unter dem Kinn und sag ihr so "Hallo" Mittlerweile haben sich beide dran gewöhnt und auch beide schlabbern ab und zu mal meine Hand ab und zeigen mir so, dass ich in die Gruppe aufgenommen wurde.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich denke wie gesagt, dass du extrem viel Geduld <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>auchst und du zusehen musst, dass der Kleene mehr Vertrauen zu dir hat.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sobald da mehr Vertrauen ist, vielleicht mal den Trick mit dem Handtuch ausprobieren und sollte er wieder so laut quieken, dann sofort aufhören, weil das ist ein Zeichen für Todesangst und das muss nicht sein! Dann muss man sich was anderes überlegen...

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Das sind jedoch alles nur Tipps von einer Kaninchenhalterin die auch noch viel zu lernen hat. Vielleicht hat ja jemand vom SR-Team hier ein wenig mehr Erfahrung und kann dir bessere Tipps geben
