Ich bin neu und hoffentlich richtig....unser Kaninchen Buddelt den Käfig um! |

Hallo! Unsere beiden Kinder haben zwei "Gebraucht-Kaninchen" bekommen. <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>rtin ist ein kastrierter Rammler und Sandy eine Zwergwidder-Dame. Die Häsin wurde vorher als Einzeltier
gehalten und der Rammler mit seinem dominanteren Bruder. Beide Tiere verstehen sich sehr gut und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen uns viel Freude.
Wir haben ihnen in das <span class="markcol">Spspan>ielzimmer unserer Kinder einen 170 x 120 cm großen Käfig gebaut;
die Hasen haben zwei <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l am Tag für je ca. 2 Stunden (aber eher mehr) Freilauf. Sie sind handzahm und kommen gerne, wenn sie gekrault werden möchten.
Aaaber: die Häsin gräbt uns den in letzter Zeit ständig den Käfig um. Das ganze <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>terial, das wir recht dick einstreuen, buddelt sie von einer Ecke in die Andere, so daß die eine Hälfte des Käfigs
nahezu leergefegt ist. Jedes<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l, wenn ich die Beiden raus lasse, bringe ich den Käfig wieder
in Ordnung. Dann kommt sie von irgendwoher angeschossen, und buddelt alles wieder um.
Der Rammler nimmt das einfach so hin; wenn sie anfängt zu wüten, hockt er sich auf eines der
Häuschen und wartet auf die Dinge, die da kommen....
Ich habe nur Meeri-Erfahrung und frage mich jetzt, was für einen Grund die Umgraberei hat?
Ich traue mich nicht wirklich, ihr eine Sandkiste hinzustellen - wer weiss, was sie dann anstellt...
(wir haben hier auch nur Quarzsand - kann <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n den auch nehmen, oder sollte es lieber
<span class="markcol">Spspan>ielsand sein????? Im KiGa der Jungs wurde jetzt Quarzsand eingefüllt, der ja auch vom TÜV
für Kinder freigegeben und empfohlen wurde. Der könnte doch dann für die Ninchen nicht schlecht sein - oder?)
Wer kann mir aus Erfahrung helfen????

Schön, dass Ihr Euch für Seccond-Hand-Kaninchen entschlossen habt!
Dass sie die eine Hälfte des Käfigs quasi leerfegt, kenne ich. Meine bauen ab und zu auch solche Hügel aus dem Streu, dass <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n echt denken könnte, dass sie mit <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ulwürfen verwand wären. Das gibt zwar eine riesige Sauerei, aber <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n kann nichts dagegen tun! Kaninchen wühlen nun <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l ohne Ende! Das ist ihr natürlicher Trieb!
An Deiner Stelle würde ich wirklich <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l eine Buddelkiste hinstellen. Ausser, dass es Dreck <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht, kann nichts passieren. Mit Quarzsand habe ich leider keine Erfahrung ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht. Ich benutze <span class="markcol">Spspan>ielkastensand (25 kg für 1,90 Euro). Unbehandeltes Rindemulch geht auch, riecht aber in der Wohnung unangenehm. Wenn Deine Kaninchen nicht alles anfressen, kannst Du in die Buddelkiste auch alte Handtücher füllen. Meine Kaninchen fressen sowas allerdings an!

| ich ahbe z.b zwei kisten mitllererweile. eine mit waldbodenfüllung unbehandelt und ein karton voll heu. wo gebuddelt wird gefressen wird und nachtürlich wie solte es anders sein gepinkelt und geköttelt wird. da soll einer sagen nin´s sind reinlich |

Du kannst die Buddelkiste auch mit Papier-schnipzel (wenn deine beiden das Papier nicht auffressen) füllen.

hallo
also ich habe mir im bau<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>rkt ne baukiste gekauft und mit <span class="markcol">spspan>ielsand gefüllt klappt pri<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an> und gibt keine sauerrei da die kiste zu hoch ist natürlich habe ich was hingestellt das sie rein und raus können |

Gegen das Buddeln kannst du nichts tun, das ist bei Kaninchen nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l.
Mein einer Herr buddelt zwar auch richtig gerne im Käfig, eine Buddelkiste hat er aber nie angenommen.
Da die beiden aber eine Kombination aus zwei Käfigen haben und nur der eine umgegraben wird, tu ich da einfach etwas dünner Einstreu rein, damit die nicht ganz so viel aus dem Käfig fällt.
