hey
also nachdem ich hier gelesen habe das man <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch äste verfüttern kann und das <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch gut für den zahnabtrieb ist. wollte ich natürlich meinen zwei süßen was gutes tun und hab apfelb<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>mäste besorgt. jetzt wunder ich much nur, dass die beiden immer nur die rinde abknabbern und den rest dann so liegen lassen.muss ich mir da sorgen um die zähne machen oder ist das normal. ich hab gedacht das dann die ganzen äste vertilgt werden

Hallo,
da musst du dir keine Sorgen machen, das ist normal. Die meisten Kaninchen ra<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>eln nur die Rinde ab und lassen den inneren Ast liegen. Häufig werden <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch ganz dünne, feine Ästchen mitgefuttert, die dickeren aber eher selten. Wenn deine beiden die Äste fertig bearbeitet haben kannst du sie ruhig gegen neue ersetzen und die alten, uninteressanten wegtun.  |

Hallo nadlchen,
das ist ganz normal - die Rinde ist saftig, der Ast selbst sehr holzig (und schmeckt dement<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>rechend nicht besonders). Manche Kaninchen fressen nur Rinde, andere fressen dünnere Äste schonmal komplett <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f und wieder andere (die ganz harten) schreddern <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch dickere Äste.
Für den Zahnabrieb dienen Äste allerdings nur bedingt - wenn überh<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>pt mehr für die Schneidezähne.
Besoners wichtig für die Abnutzung des Gebisses sind tatsächlich eher "weiche" abder kr<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>tige und faserige Dinge wie Gras, Kräuter, blättrige Kohlsorten, Salate und Wildpflanzen.
Aber Äste sind und bleiben ein schönes Zubrot und bringen neben dem kleinen Anteil am Schneidezahnabrieb <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f jeden Fall (wenn sie frisch sind um so mehr) Nährstoffe und Beschäftigung.

Hab nun viele Threads gelesen und noch keine Antwort gefunden, deshalb dacht ich, passt es hier am besten dazu...
Dürfen die Äste denn nass sein? Hab heut im Garten der Großeltern Apfelb<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>mzweige und Haselnusszweige abgeschnitten, es regnet jedoch schon seit Tagen... Ist Korkhaselnuss <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch okay?

Wenn du Innenhalter bist und deine Tiere es nicht gewöhnt sind, regennasses Futter zu fressen, würde ich die Äste ordentlich abschütteln und über der Badewanne noch etwas abtropfen lassen. Ganz trocken müssen sie nicht sein. Natürlich gilt <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch für Äste, das gleiche wie für jedes neue Futter, langsam anfüttern, wenn sie es nicht kennen.
Korkenzieherhasel, kannst du gen<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>so füttern wie normale Haselnuss. |

Eigentlich ist regennasses futter völlig unproblematisch, es gärt halt nur schneller, wenn es angehäuft länger herumliegt. Aber das dürfte bei frisch abgeschnittenen Ästen ja nicht der Fall sein, von daher würde ich die <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch nur der Wohnung zuliebe einmal abschütteln (wenn man denn Innenhalter ist) und sie dann zur Abschuss freigeben.
Jetzt sind an den Ästen ja sogar noch Blätter dran, also um so besser - gerade Obstb<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>mäste werden bei uns heiß geliebt.

Vielen Dank für eure Antworten, hab es gestern <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch so ungefähr gehandhabt. Hab sie geschüttelt und ein paar Stunden in der Wohnung liegen lassen, dann waren sie nicht mehr nass.
Sie haben richtig Freude dran gehabt, war herrlich ihnen zuzusehen! |
