Hallo liebe Möhrenspender,

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>am letzten Sonntag hat meine kleine Peach (1,5Jahre Zwergwidder) einach nicht mehr gefressen. Sie war sonst immer die erste am Napf und bettelte gleich los, wenn jemand aus der Küche reinkam. Das kam mir gleich komisch vor.. Außerdem saß sie ganz teilnahmslos in der Ecke, dass es mir fast das Herz <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>ach sie so zu sehen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Weil sich das auch nach der 5. angebotenen Möhre nicht besserte, gingen wir Montag zum Tierarzt (es war sogar einer, der von sweetrabbits empfohlen wurde). Peach ist ein EC-Kaninchen und ich hatte dies gleich im Verdacht, die Tierärztin meinte aber das kann es nicht sein.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie hat festgestellt, dass die Zähne einseitig abgenutzt werden, aber das kann wohl auch nicht der Grund sein.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie gab ihr 2 Injektionen (auf der Rechnung steht "subkutan/intramusk.") und hat uns Baytril und critical care-Futter mitgegeben. Von da an haben wir sie zwangsernährt. So weit so gut.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Am Dienstag sah sie immer noch nicht besser aus. Also sind wir wieder zum TA. Sie konnte den Grund, warum sie nicht frisst immer noch nicht feststellen, gab ihr wieder ne Spritze (Wasser unter die Haut) und schliff die Backenzähnchen ein wenig mit einer Feile ab.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Auch Mittwoch hing sie noch durch, also nochmal zum TA. Auf unsere Nachdrückliche Aufforderung hin, wurden nun die Vorderzähnchen etwas abgefeilt, sie hat wieder eine Injektion bekommen (Cortison, was 3-4Tage halten soll) und uns wurde Panacur mitgegeben.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Jetzt ging es bergauf.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie hat am selben Tag schon wieder gefressen (keine Zwangsernährung mehr) und ist rumgehoppelt. Sie sah richtig munter aus! Das ging bis Heute so (Montag).
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wir waren Heute noch einmal beim Tierarzt zur Nachuntersuchung. Sie hat auch gesagt, sie sei wieder auf dem Damm. Das war Heute Morgen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>4Stunden später sitzt sie wieder teilnahmslos in der Ecke und rührt kein Leckerlie an.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich vermute die Cortison-Spritze lässt nach.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ist es also doch nicht wieder ein EC-Aus<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>uch?
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich weiß nicht, was ich noch machen soll.. Wir können ihr doch nicht alle 4Tage Cortison spritzen?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>"subkutan/intramusk." steht in dem Fall dafür, dass eben gespritzt wurde. Subkutan bedeutet unter (sub) die Haut ('cutis') (im Gegensatz zu einer "oralen" Medikamentengabe durch das Maul) - Rückschluss auf die Art der Medikamente lässt diese Angabe also nicht zu.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Dass ein EC-Schub sich nur und einzig durch zurückgezogenheit äußert ist eher selten; was wurde sonst alles überprüft?

Ja, ich denke Cortison und Panacur wurden wegen dem E.C.-Hintergrund gegeben. Es konnte sonst ja auch nichts anderes festegestellt werden.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Panacur soll insgesamt 3Wochen lang gegeben werden, nun also noch 2. Baytril wird ab Heute nicht mehr gegeben.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Geprüft wurden die Zähnchen, der Bauch wurde abgetastet, Fieber wurde gemessen, Ohren und Augen untersucht, Gewicht wurde kontrolliert. Ich glaub das war alles..

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie wollte Verstopfung, Aufgasung und Zahnfehlstellung/Abzess ausschließen

Cortison kann durchaus 3-4 mal vera<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eicht werden, das sollte nicht das Problem sein. Allerdings ist die Ursache dann noch nicht geklärt, aber da werden wir auch nicht groß helfen können, außer ein paar Hinweise zu geben.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Auf den Kot hat Cynthia ja schon hingewisen, Kotprobe wäre vielleicht nicht verkehrt.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wenn soweit alles in Ordnung ist und nichts weiter festgestellt werden kann und ihr Zustand sich nicht bessert, dann wäre eine Blutuntersuchung möglicherweise noch aufschlußreich.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Bitte nicht vergessen, dass möglicherweise auch ein Virus die Ursache ist, dann kann ein Antibiotika auch nicht helfen, aber vielleicht eine Stärkung des Immunsystems, z.B. mit Zylexis. Aber das muss natürlich mit einem Tierarzt abgeklärt werden.
