<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>In den vergangen Wochen war es bei mir der volle Stress.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Floppy fing wieder an das linke Bein zu entlasten, wurde nass und wund.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Es ging also wieder zum Tierarzt und er wurde geröngt. Dabei stellte man fest, dass die Beckenknochen nicht in gleicher Höhe der Wirbelsäule angewachsen sind, was seit Geburt an so ist. Die Vermutung war, dass Floppys Zustand daher rührt.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Er bekam wieder Metacam, Vitamin B und etwas hömoopathisches für die Nervenbahnen. Ein paar Tage wurde es wieder besser, dann wieder schlimmer. Daraufhin gab es auch etwas Cortison.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>> Meine beiden Tierärzte wußten sich aber keinen Rat mehr und empfahlen mir einen Tierarzt in Düsseldorf, der sich unter anderem auch auf Kaninchen spezialisiert hat. Diesen rief ich letzte Woche an, um einen Termin zu machen, beschrieb die Symptome und er riet direkt zu einem EC- Test, ohne Floppy selbst gesehen zu haben.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Bis das Ergebnis des Bluttests da war (heute erst!) , konnte sich Floppy an zwei Tagen fast nur mit den Vorderbeinen ziehend fortbewegen, er saß an diesen Tagen auch teilnahmsloser in der schon behinderten gerechten Kloschale (mein Verlobter hat ein Stück der Wand entfernt) und nahm weiter ab, trotz vermehrter Kaloriengabe).
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Floppy nahm in drei Wochen 200g ab...
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Der Titer-Wert ist erschreckend hoch:
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Der Wert ist "normal" bei 80 und Floppy hatte einen Wert von 1280. Ich könnte nur heulen, aber Floppy ist so tapfer.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Er bekommt nun Panacur, Vitamin B, Cortison. Antibiotikum hat er schon vor zwei Wochen bekommen, da er einen kleinen Schnupfen hatte.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wie man sieht, hat EC wirklich verschiedene Gesichter. Floppy hatte "nur" die Hinterhandlähmung, die sich von einem Tag auf den anderen verbesserte- aber auch wieder verschlechterte-. war oft nass und war etwas dünn. Er nahm und nimmt aber am Leben mit Hudini teil, frisst gut und bettelt um Futter.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Mittlerweile hoppelt er wieder, wenn auch schief und macht sich noch ab und an nass. Für die wunde und gereizte Haut an den Hinterbeinen vom Urin habe ich Mielosan Wundspray, was gut wirkt.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Meine Tierärzte hätten nicht gedacht, dass es EC ist sondern eher, dass es etwas mit dem Befund des Röntgens zu tun hat, da Floppy nicht die "typischen" Symptome hatte. Ich meine wie Kopfschiefhaltung, rollen oder drehen, verminderte Augenreflexe.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich finde es toll, dass sie einen anderen Tierarzt vorgeschlagen haben und dessen Rat befolgten auf EC zu testen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Und ich bin so unsagbar stolz auf meinen süßen Floppy, der sich nicht unterkriegen lässt und auf Hudini, der sich gut um seinen besten Freund kümmert!
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich werde Hudini nun noch wiegen, da ich gelesen habe, dass man Partnertiere eines EC-Nins mit Panacur mitbehandeln soll. Ist dies eigentlich sinnvoll?
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich meine, da die Ansteckung wahrscheinlich eh schon stattgefunden hat. Aber wenn bei Floppy die Erreger abgetötet werden, könnte er sich doch eigentlich wieder durch Hudinis Ausscheidungen anstecken.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Würde gerne von Betroffenen wissen, wie sie es mit den Partnern gehandhabt habt oder noch macht.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich hoffe, mein Erfahrungsbericht war einigermaßen verständlich. Bin immer noch ziemlich aufgelöst darüber, dass der E.C-Kelch nicht an uns vorbei gegangen ist.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ja, E. C. kann viele Gesichter haben, daher wird bei indifferenten Krankheitsbilder schon einmal vorsorglich eine E.C.-Behandlung eingeleitet, wenn nur irgendwie der Verdacht nahe liegt. Schwierig wird die Diagnose, wenn auch wie bei Euch eine andere Diagnose wahrscheinlich ist.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Die Titer-Bestimmung ist nur eingeschränkt Aussagekräftig, da der Titer erst einmal nur aussagt, dass das Tier schon einmal mit dem Erreger in Kontakt gekommen ist. Das sind geschätzt um die 80% der Kaninchen. Aber glücklicherweise <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>icht die Krankheit nicht bei allen aus. Auch ist der Titer-Wert keine Garantie, dass die derzeit akut auftretenden Symptome durch E.C. begründet sind.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Das nun die Behandlung bei Euch zu einer Verbesserung geführt hat, ist für mich dann schon eher ein Indikator, das ihr auf dem richtigen Weg seid. Welches Antibiotika hat er denn wegen des Schnupfens bekommen, denn für E.C. ist es wichtig das es gehirngängig ist?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wir haben hier bei E.C.-Verdacht nur das Symptome aufweisende Tier behandelt. Denn wie Du schreibst hat die Ansteckung entweder ohnehin schon stattgefunden oder sie war auch schon vorher Träger.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Gestern hab ich beim Tierarzt auch nach einem gehirngängigen AB gefragt. Sie meinte, dass sie nicht sofort wieder AB geben möchte und ich solle mich Montag mit ihr telefonisch nochmal in Verbindung setzen, wie es dem Kleinen geht.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich werde aber darum bitten Chloramphenicol anzusetzen. Floppy geht es heute wieder schlechter bei der Fortbwegung. Das rechte Hinterbein kann er zur Zeit gar nicht bewegen und es liegt quer nach links unter dem Bauch. Mit dem linken Bein rutscht er teilweise nach links weg, da er sich selbst auf das rechte tritt. Genauso war es Anfang der Woche auch.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Besonders das rechte Bein ist vom Urin wieder stark angegriffen und er leckt sich dort noch zusätzlich wund.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Das Milsonspray (ist mit medizinischem Honig) soll einen leichten Schutzfilm bilden und eigentlich auch vom Lecken abhalten. Doch das hat Floppy wohl nicht mitbekommen. Er ist weiterhin so tapfer und kommt sofort, wenn er meint es gibt was zu futtern.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Dass das Partnertier nicht unbedingt mit Panacur mitbehandelt wird, sagte meine Tierärztin auch. Wollte aber einfach Eure Meinung dazu haben.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Meine Überlegung ist aber folgende: wenn Hudini diese Erreger nun unbehandelt ausscheidet und Floppy diese wieder aufnimmt, ist das nicht contraproduktiv?
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>> Im Darm werden sie bei Floppy nun abgetötet, wenn ich es richtig verstehe, aber er würde doch lebende von Hudini wieder aufnehmen?!

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>das Problem ist ja, dass EC nicht nur in den Verdauungsorganen sitzt sondern sich anscheinend in verschiedensten Regionen des Körpers (Niere, Nervensystem,..) einnistet. Eine Behandlung der Partnertiere wird eigentlich tatsächlich nicht praktiziert, zumindest in "unseren Kreisen". Denn genau so wie Panacur den Erreger nicht vollkommen ausschalten kann, so kann es auch nicht den Erreger bei einem bereits infizierten Partnertier bekämpfen - und dass ein Partnertier infiziert ist, ist so gut wie sicher, schon lang bevor das Tier mit aktivem EC seinen Aus<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>uch erlebt.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Und nicht zuletzt ist eine Panacurgaeb ja nicht ohne für den Organismus, und immer die Frage ob man das anderen Tieren antun will.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Weil Floppy ja vor allem motorische Probleme hat ist hier das Vit B eine besonders wichtige Komponente.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich nehme an, dass du wegen des Urins ohnehin regelmäßig eine Unterbodenkontrolle vornimmst - das sollte auf jeden Fall gemacht werden, nicht zuletzt wegen des Beinchens auf dem er liegt Liegeschwielen/Druckstellen sind da immer eine Gefahr),

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>das Vitamin B bekommt Floppy schon ca. 5 Wochen, da er ja schon seit längerem die Ausfallserscheinungen in den Hinterbeinen hat.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Den Unterboden und die Beine kontrolliere ich täglich, da er teilweise die Läufe schon wund hat. Ich wechsel auch täglich die Teppiche, da Floppy dort pieselt.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>> Gebe schon Leinsamen und Sonnenblumenkerne für die Haut, was auch schon etwas hilft.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Zudem kann er die auch ge<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>auchen für sein Gewicht. Er wiegt jetzt 1500g und Hudini, der die gleiche Körperstatur und Größe hat, wiegt 600g mehr.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Floppy bewegt sich heute etwas besser. Er hoppelt etwas, wenn auch sehr schief. Reaktionen bei Berührungen der Beine und Einsprühen der wunden Haut zeigt er zum Glück in beiden Hinterbeinchen. Aber man merkt sehr deutlich, dass die Muskulatur besonders rechts zurück gegangen ist.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich mache nun leichte passive Bewegungsübungen am rechten Bein und hoffe einfach, dass sich langsam alles stabilisiert bzw. verbessert.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Heute hat er sich kaum nass gemacht und die Haut sieht heute auch nicht ganz so gereizt aus

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Habe der Tierarzthelferin das etwas bessere Befinden beschrieben, mit der Bitte dies weiter zu geben.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Mache mir aber weiterhin große Sorgen um den Matz und er wirkt teilweise auch etwas genervt von mir, wenn ich immer wieder seine Beinchen kontrolliere. Aber die Leckerchen werden danach immer gerne gesehen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Allerdings tritt er sich dabei selbst auf das rechte Beinchen, worüber er kaum Kontrolle hat. Er rutscht dann mit dem linken Hinterbein auf dem Teppich seitlich weg und hat immer Schlagseite und bekommt es nur mit Mühe hin, sich wieder aufzurichten. Das rechte Bein kann er selbst dabei gar nicht einsetzen

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Heute beim großen Abendessen habe ich mich einfach zu ihm gesetzt und ihm die Hinterbeine in der richtigen Sitzposition gehalten. Ist das sinnvoll, um die Nerven und Muskulatur zu kräftigen?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich versuche zwischendurch auch das schlimmere Bein vorsichtig zu beugen und zu strecken, wenn ich die Hautversorung dort durchführe. Doch dies ist nicht leicht, da Floppy dann eine class="markcol">Spannung in dem Bein aufbaut.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich frage mich nun, ob das eine Abwehrreaktion ist, oder ob nur es durch die Nervenschädigung kommt!?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich habe heute mit der Tierärztin telefoniert und sie hat sich gefreut, dass es Floppy insgesamt besser geht bzw. sich nicht wieder verschlechtert hat. Die medikamentöse Behandlung soll wie bisher laufen, also erst ein mal kein neues AB.
