Massive Eheprobleme bei frischverheirateten Kaninchen |

Hallo liebe Kaninchenfreunde!
Ich bin zur Zeit etwas verzweifelt und für jeden Ratschlag dankbar, wie unsere Kaninchenwelt wieder in Ordnung kommen könnte.
Anfang April habe ich Bunnyman, meinen sensiblen aber total lieben Rammler, mit einer Häsin vergesellschaftet, nachdem ich überall gelesen habe, dass ein einzelnes Kaninchen niemals richtig glücklich ist. Es gab keinerlei Kampf, er hat sie sofort akzeptiert und sie war <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch vollkommen happy mit ihm. Das einzigste Problem war, dass sie ihn zwischendurch doch mal etwas gejagt hat (er ist kastriert, sie nicht). Bunnyman wurde durch die Veränderung in seinem Leben etwas schreckhafter (oder <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>fmerksamer) und schlief <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch nicht mehr so viel wie früher. Es war dennoch richtig schön zu sehen, wie sie zusammen in der Sandkiste kuschelten oder sich gegenseitig das Fell pflegten.
In der letzten Woche fand ich dann zweimal dicke <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>sgerissen Fellbüschel von ihm während sie in der Wohnung <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>sl<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f hatten und erlebte dann live mit, wie sie sich <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f ihn stürzte und blutig biss. Ich bin natürlich sofort dazwischen gegangen und habe die beiden getrennt und in separate Käfige mit Blickkontakt gesetzt.
Als ich mir sicher war, dass ihre "Hitze" vorbei war, habe ich die zwei wieder zusammen <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f dem Teppich l<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>fen lassen. Und was passiert? Jetzt ist sie wieder lieb und er stürzt sich wie ein Terminator <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f sie und beißt zu!
Daisy wird nun am Dienstag nach Pfingsten kastriert (obwohl ich ihr diese schwere, schmerzhafte OP gerne er<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>art hätte), da sie <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch schon beim Vorbesitzer Probleme mit häufigen Scheinschwangerschaften hatte. Danach wird sie ihn sicherlich nicht mehr mit ihrem Familienwunsch belästigen. Aber was mach ich mit ihm? Wie kann ich die beiden wieder vergesellschaften und ihn davon überzeugen, dass ihm nicht mehr passiert und er sich nicht mehr "vorbeugend" verteitigen muß!

An besten trennst Du Deine 2 Kaninchen räumlich, so dass sie sich weder sehen noch riechen können! So wie sie jetzt untergebracht sind, können sie einander wahrnehmen, aber den Rang nicht klären, was Aggressionen fördert. Wie groß ist denn das Gehege Deiner 2 Kaninchen? Jedes Kaninchen benötigt mindestens 2 qm Gehege und zusätzlich <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>sl<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f von mehreren Stunden. In den normalen Käfigen können sich die Kaninchen nicht <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>s dem Weg gehen, was <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch zu Unruhe führt.

Hallo Sylke,
herzlichen Dank für die schnelle Antwort. Daisy wurde letzten Dienstag kastriert. Die Tierärztin teilte mir mit, dass ihre Eierstöcke bereits verändert waren und sie mit Sicherheit irgendwann Krebs bekommen hätte, so dass die Entscheidung, sie zu operieren sicher richtig war.
Ich habe die beiden heute im Badezimmer zusammengesetzt. Vorher haben beide Rescue-Tropfen bekommen, die Häsin habe ich zusätzlich noch etwas mit seinem Streu eingerieben.
Resultat: er hat sie beschnuppert und sofort massiv bekämpft. Sie hat gar keine Chance mehr, ihm zu zeigen, dass ihr Verhalten von früher nicht mehr existiert. Ich find's sehr schade, habe aber nicht mehr viel Hoffnung, dass die beiden noch einmal so nett miteinander kuscheln wie das früher der Fall war. Bunnyman hat durch ihre Hitze <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch mehr "Macken" abbekommen, als ich vermutet hatte. Unter seinem Fell habe ich noch einige Krusten entdeckt.
Da er nun mal sehr sensibel ist, scheint er nun von ihren Angriffen echt tr<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>matisiert zu sein.
Wenn meine Ohren <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch hängen könnten, dann würden sie es jetzt tun. Ich finde das ganze echt tr<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>rig, zumal sie sich früher - abgesehen von ihrem Familienwunsch - so gut verstanden haben.

Wie lange waren denn jetzt beide getrennt?
Ansonsten würde ich beide für 2 Wochen trennen...
damit beide erst mal zur Ruhe kommen.
Nach zwei Wochen würde ich eine Vergesellschaftung neu starten. Das ganze natürlich <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f neutralem Boden.
Denn wenn die beiden nur ein paar Tage getrennt waren, konnten die Aggressionen noch nicht abgeb<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>t werden.
Wenn du die beiden 2 Wochen trennst ist es allerdings total wichtig, dass sie sich weder sehen, riechen noch hören können.
Null Kontakt zueinander.

Hallo Susanne, Wolle und Fipsi4,
vielen Dank, dass ihr euch so lieb um meine Kaninchenprobleme kümmert und herzlichen Dank <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch für die tröstenden Worte. Ich werd's jetzt in 2 Wochen noch einmal probieren. Muss allerdings zwischendurch immer leicht schluchzend daran denken, wie sie von morgens bis abends innig miteinander gekuschelt haben (uns wurde dabei ganz warm ums Herz).
Schade, dass es noch keine Ehetherapie für Schlappohren gibt. Ehekräche wegen unterfüllten Kinderwunsches gibt es halt doch nicht nur bei Menschen.
