Köttelketten - Sind immer Haare der Grund! |

Hallo liebes Dr. h.c. Hase-Team,
habe bei meiner Lilly gerade drei Köttelpaare gefunden (nicht an derselben Stelle), die durch einen dickeren "Faden" zusammengehalten sind. Lilly frisst wie ein Pferd und sie böbbelt ent<span class="markcol">spspan>rechend viel. Sie und ihr Kumpel Strizz sind beide kurzhaarig und bekommen täglich ca. 1 cm Nager<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lt. Neben Heu gibt es täglich Wiesenfütterung (derzeit Löwenzahn, Schafgabe, Rotklee, Giersch, Zaunwicke, Wiesenbärenklau, Vogelmiere, Storchschnabel und etwas Minze) und für jeden eine Möhre.
Könnt ihr mir vielleicht diese Fragen beantworten:
1. Ist jetzt noch Fellwechsel?
2. Kann es für Köttelketten auch einen anderen Grund als Haare geben? Bei<span class="markcol">spspan>ielsweise Pflanzenfasern?
3. Ich habe derzeit kein Parafinöl im Haus. Wenn ich Sonnenblumenöl nehme, wie viel soll ich jetzt geben? 1ml?

Hallo Sybilla,
ob noch Fellwechsel ist - merkst Du ja eigentlich selber an deinen Kaninchen.
Wenn Du sie anfässt - hast Du da lose Haare an der Hand?
Ansonsten ist das von Tier zu Tier unterschiedlich. Bei meinem zwei Tieren ist eines am haaren (Langhaar-Exemplar) und das andere nicht.
Auch kann es sein, dass es Haare sind die etwas länger im <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>gen waren und nun raustran<span class="markcol">spspan>ortiert werden.
Durch Pflanzenfasern kann ich mir Köttelketten schlecht vorstellen.
Grundsätzlich ist es erst ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l gut, wenn deine Kaninchen die Haare ausscheiden. Die müssen ja irgendwie raus - von daher dies auch nicht als extrem negativ sehen. 
Ich würde an deiner Stelle auch nicht gleich die Menge an Öl geben zu<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l Du das sicher oral mit einer <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze eingeben müsstest.
Träufel doch etwas Öl über das Futter zB Brokkoli.
So nehmen sie Öl auf und können die Haare ausscheiden.
So lange gefressen wird und Kot abgesetzt wird und er ansonsten neben den Köttelketten unauffällig ist - würde ich es bei dieser <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ssnahme belassen.

Hallo,
Köttelketten entstehen durch Fell, Teppich-, handtuch-, oder andere Textilfasern und sogar durch versehentlich aufgenommene Haare der Halterin (auch das kann passieren,...).
Wenn sie vereinzelt <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l vorkommen, das Tier aber ansonsten nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l geformte, feste Köttel produziert, würde ich mich deshalb nicht so sehr sorgen.
Wann "Fellwechsel ist", das liegt wie Anja schon richtig bemerkt hat, am einzelnen Tier und auch an der Region in der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n mit seinen Tieren lebt. <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nche plüschen jetzt noch, andere sind schon lange durch.
Ich gebe mein Öl auch immer über das Futter, wpürde aber bei "Zwangsgabe" über eine <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze eine genau so kleine oder große Menge nehmen wie auch vom Mineralöl.
Was die Schmiereigenschaften angeht ist der Unterschied nicht wirklich erheblich.

Letzte Woche war Fellwechsel noch kein The<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>, aber jetzt scheint Lilly zu haaren. Bei Strizz ließen sich durch sanftes "Zupfen" keine Haare entfernen - bei ihr schon! Es fand sogar ein ganz ordentlicher Haartransfer auf die Besitzerin statt 
Auch wenn sie nicht begeistert ist, das <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen wir jetzt jeden Tag und bei neuen Ketten gibt es einige Tropfen Öl ins Futter, so wie von euch vorgeschlagen.
