Hallo,

"Hart" ist natürlich immer eine relative <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ssage. Abszesse im Kieferbereich sind bei Kaninchen keine Seltenheit.
Natürlich kommen <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch andere Dinge in Frage, aber das ist <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Spspan>ekulation.
Lass es erst einmal von deinem TA untersuchen. Sollte es ein Abszess sein, wird der vom TA geöffnet und ge<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>ühlt. In der Folge sollte dein Tier dann ein Antibiotikum (ggf. <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch Penicilin) bekommen.
Wichtig ist, dass dein TA die Mundhöhle gut untersucht und die Beschaffenheit der Zähne checkt und ggf. handelt.

Gut ist, dass gefressen wird. Alles andere wird der TA erkennen! Mach dich nicht zu sehr verrückt, denn ändern kannst du im Moment nichts.

Also, bin vom TA zurück.
Der TA hat mit einer <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Spspan>ritze versucht Flüssigkeit zu entnehmen, aber da die Schwellung so hart is, kam nichts r<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>s, es ist also schonmal kein frischer Eiter da. <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch durch Drücken kam nichts. Er war sich deshalb <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch nicht ganz sicher, ob das ein noch entstehender Abszess ist, wo sich noch kein Eiter gebildet hat, oder ob es was älteres ist, was schon verhärtet ist und jetzt wieder angeschwollen ist.
Er hat <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f meinen Wunsch hin die Zähne nochmal kontrolliert, aber <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ßer ein paar Zahn<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>itzen, die er entfernt hat, war nichts zu sehen.
Er hat schließlich in die Schwellung ein antibiotisches und abschwellendes Mittel (Name hab ich wieder vergessen) ge<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>ritzt und gesagt ich solle es beobachten.
Achja, er meinte noch <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f nem Röntgenbild würde man in dem Fall <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch nich viel sehen.

Hallo.
<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>s aktuellem Anlass kram ich meinen Thread nochmal r<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>s. Der Knubbel an Twistys Backe war dann letztendlich wieder weggegangen.
Am Samstag abend allerdings war ihre Backe plötzlich wieder dick, also bin ich heute direkt zum Tierarzt. Diesmal hat eine andere Tierärztin in der Klinik behandelt.
Sie hat Twisty in Narkose gelegt, den Kiefer geröngt und anschließend die Verhärtung eröffnet. Allerdings war weder Eiter drin, noch ist ein Zahn die Ursache dafür. Sie meinte dann, es sei eine verhärtete Gewebsveränderung. Da es allerdings unter der Kiefermuskulatur liegt, möchte sie es nur entfernen, wenn es bösartig ist. Wenn es gutartig ist und nicht weiter wächst, will sie da nicht dran rumschnippeln, da das echt ne doofe Lage hat.
Allerdings müsste man dann dar<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f achten, dass der Kieferknochen mit der Zeit nicht angegriffen wird.
Also sie meinte, ich soll es beobachten und wenn es dicker wird, müsste man es operieren. Am Mittwoch soll ich nochmal zur Kontrolle und dann macht sie nochmal Salbe dr<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f.
Kann man so ne Verhärtung denn einfach lassen, wenn sie nicht bösartig ist und nicht größer wird?
Twisty ist noch etwas mitgenommen von der Narkose und torkelt ziemlich durch die Gegend. Ich hab Angst, dass sie sich verletzt, wenn sie wogegen knallt. Kann ich ihr irgendwie helfen oder reicht <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>fpassen? Die Narkose war heute Mittag so gegen halb 1.
Und ab wann muss sie wieder was futtern?

Hi, also ich habe, als mein altes Nin damals in Narkose war, das Gehege extrem <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>sgepolstert, mit Decken mit allem möglichen, was ich finden konnte, damit der Kleine sich nicht verletzt. Ich denke, fressen sollte sie wieder, wenn sie richtig wach ist. Vielleicht bietest du ihr was an? Dann siehst du, ob sie dran geht oder nicht. Wie schon gesagt wurde, bei den Temperaturen ganz wichtig: Wasser.

Wichtig wäre bei Narkosen, dass Du das Kaninchen immer erst dann mitnimmst, wenn es richtig wach ist. Sollte es in der <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>fwachphase Komplikationen geben, ist es sicherer in der Praxis <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>fgehoben, wo in solchen Fällen schnell reagiert werden kann. Leider kann natürlich <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch die Hitze am heutigen Tage den Kreisl<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f belasten, so dass Twisty möglicherweise die Narkose heute etwas mehr zu schaffen gemacht hat. Die Tierärztin hat <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch eine Gewebeprobe entnommen, oder? Futtern darf Twisty erst, wenn sie wieder richtig wach ist. Gleiches gilt für's Päppeln. Hat sie denn inzwischen schon ein wenig von allein zu sich genommen? |

Umfangsvermehrungen in diesem Bereich können natürlich immer verschieden sein. Wie deine TA dir schon sagte, ist hier beobachten sehr wichtig. Sollte ein entzündlicher Prozess mit Eiter entstehen, dann sollte dieser geöffnet und ge<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>ült werden. Wenn es nur eine Gewebsveränderung ist, sollte man beobachten, denn die OP hier etwas weg zunehmen ohne den Muskel oder andere Dinge zu stark zu Schaden ist sehr kompliziert.
Leider ist es so, dass es <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch dort häufig zu Knochenveränderungen kommen kann, so dann leider <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch keine andere Möglichkeit bleibt als zu beobachten.
Eine Gewebeprobe, solange das Gewebe erreichbar ist, bringt vorallem für dich Gewissheit.
Wenn deine TA mit einer Nadel punktiert hat, dann hat sie nur versucht zu sehen ob dort Eiter drin ist.

Mit so einem kleinen Pröbchen könnte es in der Tat schwierig werden. Ich dachte es wurde bereits eine (größere) Probe genommen, weil Du weiter oben schriebst "wenn es gutartig ist...". Nichtsdestotrotz hoffe ich, ihr habt Glück und der Befund kann euch weiterhelfen.

Was chirurgisch in diesem Fall noch möglich ist und was nicht, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Falls sich her<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>sstellen sollte, dass eine OP nötig wäre, aber <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>s Sicht Deines Arztes chirurgisch nicht umsetzbar ist, würde ich daher im Zweifel eine zweite Meinung eines erfahrenen Chirurgen einholen.
Ich hatte mal einen Fall - allerdings war der Patient eine Rennm<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>s - wo ein Tumor so ungünstig in der Backe lag, dass er nicht operabel war (man hätte den halben Kiefer mit entfernen müssen). Daher konnte ich dem kleinen Rennmäuserich seine verbleibende Zeit - immerhin 3 Monate - nur noch so angenehm wie möglich gestalten. Leider sind uns da bei kleinen Tieren hin und wieder Grenzen gesetzt. |

Wenn es wirklich kleiner geworden ist, dann hört sich das aber eher nicht nach einem bösartigen Tumor an, das wäre also schon mal positiv.

Hier nochmal eine kleine Berichterstattung.
Der Tierarzt hat grad angerufen, sie haben bei der histologischen Untersuchung tatsächlich was gefunden, obwohl die Probe doch sehr gering war.
Aber es gibt positive Neuigkeiten, es ist kein bösartiger Tumor.
Es ist eine gutartige Gewebeveränderung, die, wenn wir Glück haben, <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch ganz weggehen kann, sodass sie nicht mehr wiederkommt.
Inzwischen ist das Teil <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch fast komplett weg. Dann hoffe ich, dass es <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch nicht mehr wiederkommt, aber jetzt hab ich wenigstens die Sicherheit, dass es gutartig ist. |
