Schnupfen, Husten, Kehlkopfentzündung oder doch eine Allergie? |

Hallo,
vor ca. 3-4 Wochen fing unser Kaninchen an zu niesen (wir gingen davon aus, dass es Niesen ist). Wenn es ganz extrem wurde, schüttelte es sich und letztendlich fing es an zu würgen und zu quietschen. Meine Frau ging dann mit dem Kaninchen zum Tierarzt, dort wurde noch eine Bindehautentzündung festgestellt.
Das Kaninchen bekam dann eine Augensalbe und 2 <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen ( Antibiotika und ein entzündungshemmendes Mittel ) gegen Schnupfen. Am gleichen und am darauf folgenden Tag wurde das Niesen besser. Bei dem Kontrolltermin 2 Tage <span class="markcol">spspan>äter bekam das Kaninchen noch ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l 2 <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen.
Am nächsten Tag ( Freitag, an diesem Tag wurde der Käfig sauber ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht ) bemerkten wir, dass das Kaninchen wieder öfters zu niesen begann. Nachdem das Niesen nicht besser wurde, haben wir erneut einen Termin beim Tierarzt ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht. Dies<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l hatten wir ein Video dabei, auf dem <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n das Niesen bzw. Husten, Würgen sehen und hören konnte. Nachdem der Arzt sich das Video 2x angeschaut hatte, lautete seine Diagnose " Kehlkopfentzündung ). Er konnte das Niesen und Würgen von Hand auslösen. Dies<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l bekam unser Kaninchen 2 <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen gegen die Kehlkopfentzündung.
Wie schon vorher, wurde das Niesen und Würgen besser. Nach 3 Tagen mussten wir wieder zum Kontrolltermin und dort testete der Arzt noch ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l, ob er das Niesen und Würgen auslösen kann. Dies<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l gelang es ihm nicht und uns wurde gesagt, dass es viel besser wurde. Am nächsten Tag ( wieder Freitag und wieder wurde der Käfig neu ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht ) fing das Kaninchen zu Niesen und Würgen an. Wir fragten den Tierarzt schon bei unserem ersten Termin, ob es eine Allergie gegen das Einstreu ( Chipsi <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">Classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ic ) bzw. Überstreu ( Waldboden der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>rke Vitakraft ) sein kann.
Wir benutzen die beiden Streusorten aber schon länger.
Was uns aufgefallen ist, dass das Niesen abends schlimmer wird, nachts haben wir noch nichts gehört. Ansonsten benimmt sich das Kaninchen wie immer. Nächste Woche müssen wir wohl ein drittes <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l zum Doc. Was denkt ihr, was es noch sein könnte ?

Liebes Forum,
Hat je<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nd eine Antwort auf diese Frage. Unser Huppi hat die gleichen Symtome. CT und Röntgen unauffällig. 4 unterschiedliche Tierärzte sind ratlos.
Der letzte TA hat festgestellt: Würgen durch greifen im Kehlkopfbereich reproduzierbar.
Meist am Abend schlechter. Schnupfen, Zahnprobleme, Lungen- und Herzprobleme wurden ausgeschlossen.
Homeopatisches, Kräuter, Metacam, Nasentropfen mit Cortison wurden bereits gegeben - ohne viel Erfolg.
BITTE um Ideen oder Ratschläge!
Mittlerweile zieht sich das Ganze seit 3 Wochen!

Guten Abend und herzlich willkommen hier im Forum!
Heißt, ein Problem in Nasenhöhlen und Nasennebenhöhlen schließt ihr eher aus (da "Schnupfen wurde ausgeschlossen"?), Huppi niest nicht?
Bei ausschließlich Würgen als Symptom, wäre der Rachenraum interessant. Wenn <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n nur durch eine In<span class="markcol">spspan>ektion der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ulhöhle im wachen Zustand nichts Auffälliges sieht, würde ich (wenn nicht schon geschehen) mit dem Tierarzt beraten, ob dem Tier eine Narkose zugemutet werden kann, damit <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n sich den Rachenbereich noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l genauer anschauen kann. Ggf. auch unter Zuhilfenahme eines Endoskops. Da weiß ich leider nicht, wie gut <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n das dort nutzen kann. Bei meinen Kaninchen wurde bisher "nur" eine Rhinoskopie ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht, dort kommt <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n aber leider auch nicht überall hin, wo wir gern geschaut hätten, <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nche Bereiche sind einfach zu winzig beim Kaninchen.
Es gibt ansonsten auch Tierärzte mit HNO-Schwerpunkt. Wenn ihr so gar nicht weiterkommt, könntest Du auch ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l gezielt nach einem solchen Tierarzt in Deiner Umgebung Ausschau halten oder auch Deinen Tierarzt fragen. |

Haben Huppi und Berni nach den ersten seltsamen Anzeichen getrennt. Berni hat keine Anzeicheno o. dgl..
Schnupfen wird wegen nicht vorhandenem Ausfuss, entzundenen Augen oder Ohren ausgeschlossen.
Wir haben Futter getauscht, Stroh durch Ballets ersetzt, feuchte Tücher aufgehängt (Wohnungshaltung).
Keine Veränderung durch eingebrachte Dinge wie Shampoo, Waschmittel, odgl.
Verabreichen noch mehr frische Kräuter.
Thymian, Salbei, Eibisch, Karottenkraut, Basilikum, Petersilie; bieten Eibisch und Tymiantee an.
Metacam und Nasentropfen haben wir abgesetzt weil <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n dies nicht lange verabreichen soll, und es keine <span class="markcol">spspan>ürbare Verbesserung gebracht hat.
Er bekommt aktuell noch begleitend Papajamousee (Caricol) und Rodicare Immun zur Unterstützung. Leider frisst er es nicht selbstständig. Also mit <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze mühsam ins Mäulchen...
Ja, guter Tip, nach unserem gestrigen Termin beim TA haben wir folgenden Plan:
Verabreichung von Petdolor + Lachesis (homeophatisch) -> kein Würgen mehr, die Abstände vom Niesen sind größer geworden. Seit Verabreichung (16 Std.) keine Hust + Würgeanfälle
Demnächst: Endoskopie Rachenraum mit leichter Narkose.
CT Bilder von anderer Stelle noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lig befunden lassen.
Wir haben (leider erst) am 8.1. einen Termin bei einem <span class="markcol">Spspan>ezialisten.
Gott sei Dank war die Nacht halbwegs erträglich für den Zwerg.

Ich wünsche Dir auch ein gesundes neues Jahr! 
Dass noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l ein zweiter Arzt auf's CT schaut, ist eine gute Idee. Hatte ich leider auch schon paar <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l, dass im Eifer des Gefechts was bei CT- und Röntgenbefunden übersehen wurde.
Ich drücke euch ganz fest die Daumen, dass ihr mit Endoskopie und CT-Check zu einer gut behandelbaren Diagnose bekommt.  Berichte gern <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l, wenn Du neue Erkenntnisse hast. |

Es gibt Neuigkeiten:
Zwischen 2.1. und 8.1. waren sehr wohl wieder Würgeanfälle dabei.
Nach Termin beim <span class="markcol">Spspan>ezialisten in der Vet-Med am 8.1.: Narkose will der TA und wir nicht durchführen lassen. Keine noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lige CT-Befundung. So weit wie möglich wurde in den Mund/Rachenraum geschaut. Nichts auffällig. Natürlich hat er sich quietschlebendig beim TA gezeigt. :-/
Ich habe bei diesem Termin ein Video mit allen Varianten von Niesen, Husten, Würgen vorgeführt.
Weiters wurde festgestellt, dass Huppi ein ganz leicht feuchtes Auge hat. Angeblich kann ein Kaninchenschnupfen unterschiedliche Symptome haben. Niesen, Husten, Würgen und ein leicht feuchtes Auge und die Erfahrung waren ausschlaggebend, dass ein Kaninchenschnupfen diagnostiziert wurde.
Wir verabreichen seit 8.1. ein leicht verträgliches Antibiotikum flüssig, oral; Er bekam ebenso noch 2 <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l einen Immunbooster ge<span class="markcol">spspan>ritzt. Nach einer Woche war das Niesen, Husten schon sehr reduziert und nicht mehr so intensiv. Das Würgen war weg. Nach Rück<span class="markcol">spspan>rache mit <span class="markcol">Spspan>ezialisten verabreichen wir das Antibiotikum in Summe 10 Tage + 2 Wochen. Dann noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lige Rück<span class="markcol">spspan>rache. Aktuell Hustet er ca. pro Tag 3 <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l (meist im Ruhezustand und Nachts) was gegenüber jeder Stunde wie am Anfang bemerkenswert ist. Sein Wesen und Verhalten hat sich zu 100 % nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lisiert. Die Husten und Würgeanfälle haben ihn schon mitgenommen. Ich hoffe, dass der Kaninchenschnupfen nicht chronisch bleibt. Huppi hat noch nie Antibiotikum erhalten, was ihm jetzt zu Gute kommt. Wir sind auf einem guten Weg!

| Das freut mich zu lesen. Wenn es unter Antibiotikum eine solch merkliche Besserung gibt, gebt es ent<span class="markcol">spspan>rechend lange - idealerweise bis über Erreichen der Symptomfreiheit hinaus. Alles Gute, dass der Husten komplett und vor allem auch dauerhaft weggeht. |
