Hallo zusammen,
ich bin neu hier und mich führt eines meiner Fellknäuel zu euch, der mir schon länger Sorgen bereitet. Da ich schon eine Weile eure Info Seiten zu Ernährung & Co. durchlese, dachte ich mir, vielleicht könnt ihr mir ein paar Ernährungstipps geben.
Aber erst ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l zur Situation:
<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow, ca. 5 Jahre alt, hat seit geraumer Zeit Verdauung<span class="markcol">spspan>robleme.
Das heißt - er frisst wie ein verrückter (mehr als die beiden Mädels), aber nimmt stattdessen ab.
Deshalb war ich bei meiner TA. Diese hat eine Kotprobe untersuchen lassen und einen, wie sie sagte, "nicht besorgniserregend hohen Anteil von Hefen" darin gefunden. Da er sonst mopsfidel ist, sich auch sonst (auch auf einem Röntgenbild) nichts finden ließ (Zähne sind auch tippitoppi), beschloss sie ihn auf eine 6 Wochen-Kur Rodicare Akut zu setzen. +Bene Bac morgens und abends, um die Verdauung ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen.
Zusätzlich kein zuckerhaltiges FriFu mehr (ade geliebte Möhrchen).
Knapp 2 Wochen <span class="markcol">spspan>äter fing er an zu sabbern und hörte nahezu auf Heu zu fressen. Auch sonst fraß er deutlich weniger und nahm weiter ab. Deshalb sind wir wieder zum TA gedüst.
Daraufhin gab es nun:
- <span class="markcol">Spspan>ascupreel
- Metapyrin
- Dimetricon,
- Baytril
- Bene Bac und Rodicare Akut weiterhin
+ Critical Care zum zufüttern
Das hat er bis Sonntag letzte Woche bekommen.
Die Hefen im Kot blieben unverändert, sein Gewicht sank weiter. Deshalb warte ich jetzt auf die Lieferung eines Mittels gegen die Hefen - das wollen wir als nächstes versuchen.... Morgen sollte die Lieferung eigentlich kommen (EIGENTLICH sollte sie schon Freitag da sein. Aber wir leben mit Corona...)
Ich habe den Kleinen mittlerweile auf 1400g halbwegs stabil. Was viel zu wenig ist, wenn <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n bedenkt, dass seine Mädels knapp unter bzw. knapp über 2000g liegen (und nicht fett sind  )
Nun zu meiner Frage:
Habt ihr einen Vorschlag, was ich dem Kleinen quasi als "Dick<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cher" füttern kann? Es soll ja nichts sein, dass ihm neue Krankheiten verursacht oder die Hefen anheizt. Aber er muss mehr auf die Knochen bekommen.
Ich bin für Anregungen offen.

Hallo Midget,
also sabbern und kein Heu mehr fressen wäre für mich jetzt ein Zeichen dafür, das mit den Zähnen was nicht in Ordnung ist! Sind die in mehreren Ebenen geröntgt worden, oder hat die TÄ nur mit dem Orthoskop in das <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ul gesehen? So kann <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n leider nur einen kleinen Teil erkennen, aber keine Veränderungen des Kiefers. Und wenn er nicht mehr richtig kaut, können sich auch Hefen bilden. Deswegen würde ich an Deiner Stelle nach einem TA suchen, der auf Zähne bei Heimtieren <span class="markcol">spspan>ezialisiert ist, bevor Du das Nystatin gibst!
Ist er ein Widder? Dann könnte auch eine Ohrentzündung die Ursache für das andere Fressverhalten sein...

Ich schließe mich Charly2020 da voll und ganz an. Wenn Dein <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow abnimmt und auch noch sabbert, dann ist da etwas ganz und gar nicht in Ordnung und Du solltest unbedingt mit einem heimtierkundigen Tierarzt auf Ursachensuche gehen. Bei Sabbern würde ich auch erst <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l an Zähne denken, aber auch Ohrentzündungen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen den Widderkaninchen leider häufiger Probleme. Und wenn Du selbst schon <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l eine Mittelohrenzündung hattest, dann weißt Du sicher wie sich das anfühlt: es tut dolle weh und essen bzw. kauen ist sehr unangenehm.
Du schreibst, er frisst wie ein Verrückter. Hast Du das <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l genauer beobachtet? Meine Kaninchendame <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht auf den ersten Blick auch einen gefräßigen Eindruck, wenn <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n aber genauer beobachtet, sieht <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n, dass sie im Vergleich zum zahngesunden Partner einfach deutlich länger braucht, um die gleiche Menge zu fressen. Kannst Du das bitte noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l prüfen - frisst er wirklich auch nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l viel oder frisst er nur genauso lange wie die Partnerinnen aber nimmt in dieser Zeit merklich weniger auf? Falls er trotz ausreichender Nahrungsaufnahme abnehmen sollte, würde ich zusätzlich ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l Blut abnehmen und untersuchen lassen. Und noch eine Frage: Welche Farben hat der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow - ganz viel weiß mit ein paar dunklen Abzeichen/Flecken? Dann käme auch ein genetischer Hintergrund für die Gewichtsabnahme infrage.
Geröntgt wurde schon, aber möglicherweise wurde etwas übersehen oder Dein Tierarzt kennt sich mit Kaninchenzähnen nicht gut genug aus. Daher wäre es gut, wenn Du die Röntgenbilder noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l mit einem kaninchenzahnkundigen Tierarzt be<span class="markcol">spspan>richst. Dann schreib gern, in welcher "Ecke" Deutschlands Du einen Tierarzt bräuchtest, dann suche ich gern mit. Das Röntgenbild sollte dann unbedingt auch auf Auffälligkeiten im Bereich des Mittelohrs/der Bullae hin untersucht werden und der Tierarzt sollte sich auch den Gehörgang anschauen. Nur den Gehörgang von außen anzuschauen, reicht leider nicht aus, der Mittelohrbereich ist so nicht einsehbar.
Die vermehrten Hefen lassen sich dann vermutlich mit der Grunderkrankung erklären. Denn bei Zahnproblemen und/oder Schmerzen im <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ul-/Kopfbereich kaut ein Kaninchen unter Umständen anders/nicht ausreichend und das kann dann Hefen begünstigen. Ist die Ursache, die der Hefenvermehrung zugrunde lag, beseitigt, nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lisieren sich die Hefen dann in der Regel auch von alleine wieder auf Nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lniveau. Sollte <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow aktuell allerdings schon Verdauung<span class="markcol">spspan>robleme wegen der Hefen haben, würde ich das Mittel gegen Hefen (vermutlich Nystatin?) trotzdem begleitend geben. Unabhängig davon: Was fütterst Du denn nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise so?

| So, nun aber zu Deiner eigentlichen Frage: Wie kriegt er trotz der aktuellen Situation etwas mehr Gewicht drauf. Frisst er Päppelbrei freiwillig? Das hat nämlich schon <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l "Zunehmpotenzial". Zum Zunehmen kann <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n den nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise auch mit etwas Babymöhrenbrei und/oder Haferflocken verfeinern, nur leider wäre das kontraproduktiv bei Hefen. Ansonsten findest Du hier auf der Seite ganz unten verschiedene Kalorienbomben die Du anbieten könntest: >KLICK HIER!< Bei vermutetem Zahnproblem kannst Du auch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l probieren, ob er sich mit kleingeschnittenem oder gera<span class="markcol">spspan>eltem Frischfutter leichter tut. |

So erst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l: er HATTE gesabbert, weshalb ich wieder zum Arzt bin. Er sabberte bereits nach 2 Tagen Medikamentengabe nicht mehr. Die Ärztin meinte, sabbern kann durch "Übelkeit" hervorgerufen werden. Da es direkt wieder wegging und er Heu auch wieder mit Kusshand frisst, denke ich, dass sie damit Recht hatte.
Wie viel von dem Heu er nun tatsächlich frisst, kann ich nicht sagen. Da er aber viel vom "Zugefütterten" aus der Hand bekommt und es da förmlich einatmet, würde ich das "langsame Fressen" direkt ausschließen.
Die Mümmelnasen bekommen zu fressen:
Heu und dazu
Chicoree, Eisbergsalat, Feldsalat, Fenchel, Knollensellerie, Möhren, Pastinaken, Wirsing, Gurke, Ruccola, <span class="markcol">Spspan>itzkohl, Topinambur, Weißkohl, ein paar Kräuter (allerdings getrocknet) und meist Weidenäste, selten Apfeläste
und Obst gar nicht.
Natürlich nicht alles zusammen, sondern im Wechsel - außer Chicoree, Gurke und Fenchel. Das habe ich eigentlich immer da.
ca. 2x die Woche bekommen sie noch (zu dritt) 4 EL verschiedene Saaten (stehen im Einzelnen auch bei euch auf der Liste.)
Critical Care hat er zum Zufüttern bereits bekommen. Da schlabbert er in Sekunden die Schale leer.
Bei ihm wurden mittlerweile 2 Röntenaufnahmen ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht. Sowohl vom Verdauungstrackt, als auch den Zähnen und die Zähne wurden per "rein gucken" auch noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l kontrolliert.
Er hat viele Aufgasungen (und Schlacken?) im Verdauungstrackt. Deshalb gab es die Medikamentierung, wie oben beschrieben.
Ich warte jetzt seit fast 2 Wochen auf die Lieferung der Medis gegen Hefen. Werde vom TA immer nur vertröstet, es sei noch nicht da. Deshalb weiß ich leider nicht, was er bekommen soll.
Mich frustiert das sehr.
@Gretchen Ich komme aus Leipzig. Früher war ich bei Frau Angela Peter<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nn. Habe jedoch einige Jahre nicht hier gelebt und bin aktuell bei einer anderen TA, weil sie von der Entfernung her günstiger liegt. Bisher hatte ich den Eindruck, dass sie Ahnung hätte. Aber die aktuelle Situation ist nicht zufriedenstellend. Ich habe den Eindruck, die Bestellung wurde vergessen und nun wird es "vertuscht". Kann mich aber auch irren.
Ich habe nicht den Eindruck, dass er "zu wenig" frisst. Sondern eher, dass das was er frisst nicht anständig verstoffwechselt wird. Da ich selbst aber keine Ahnung von der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>terie habe... weiß ich nicht, ob die Hefen daran Schuld sein könnten. An den Aufgasungen ja sicherlich.
Keine Ahnung, ob ein TA-Wechsel das beste wäre und auch nicht, ob da meine ur<span class="markcol">spspan>rüngliche TA die richtige Wahl wäre. Falls ihr hier je<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nden empfehlen könnt?!?

| Ich würde empfehlen nicht zu viel Weide zu füttern, lieber Obstbaumäste. Weide enthält Acetylsalicylsäure, ist somit Bestandteil von A<span class="markcol">spspan>irin und damit schlecht für den Verdauungsapperat. Meine größten Darmprobleme meiner Häsin Luna, die ich nie mehr in den Griff bekam haben mit zu vielen Weidenästen gestartet... |

Also die Hefen können auch durch zu viel Knollengemüse entstehen...die enthalten alle Stärke bzw. Zucker!
Ich weiß ja nicht wieviel Du davon fütterst, aber ich würde für's erste den Knollensellerie,Möhre und Pastinake ganz weg lassen! Bei der Topinambur bin ich mir nicht sicher...die sollen eigentlich gut für die Verdauung sein.
Bisher habe ich so die Hefen bei meinen ohne Medikament in den Griff bekommen! Was <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n sonst nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise bei Hefen gibt ist Nystatin, in <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nchen Shops ist es zur Zeit nicht lieferber, aber bei feedmyani<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l kannst Du es noch bestellen, wenn Du nicht auf das von Deiner TÄ warten willst... Es sei denn sie wollte Dir was anderes mitgeben, das müßtest Du vorher vielleicht besser abklären!
Ich würde die Zähne trotzdem im Hinterkopf behalten, denn 1 RöBi reicht nicht aus um das abzuklären, es sollte schon in 4 Ebenen geröntgt werden! |

Jetzt muss ich <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l ganz doof fragen: Wo liegt denn <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llows Nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lgewicht bzw. wieviel hat er früher gewogen? Wenn er da eher beim Gewicht der Weibchen liegt, dann ist das ein zu hoher Gewichtsverlust und ich würde weiter auf Ursachenforschung gehen, was da gesundheitlich nicht in Ordnung ist. Ich würde da zunächst erst ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l an ein umfassenderes (mehrere Ebenen) Röntgen des Kiefers und ein Blutbild denken. Falls Deine Tierärztin an der Stelle nicht so richtig weiter weiß, würde ich da tatsächlich <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l eine Zweitmeinung einholen.
In Leipzig kann ich Dir Frau Dr. Fabritius empfehlen: >KLICK HIER!< Sie steht auch in der Liste heimtierkundiger Tierärzte der AG Kleinsäuger: >KLICK HIER!<
Bei dem Hefenmedikament bzw. generell bei Medikamenten kann es leider durchaus <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l sein, dass etwas nicht lieferbar ist. Frag' da am besten noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l bei Deiner Tierärztin nach. Entweder bestellt sie es dann an anderer Stelle oder sagt Dir, welches Medikament sie einsetzen wollte und Du versuchst es -wie von Charly2020 geschrieben - selbst. Falls es um Nystatin ging: Das ist nicht rezeptpflichtig, so dass Du es auch selbst und ohne Rezept bestellen könntest.
Beim Kaninchenfutter ist es wichtig, dass vorwiegend Blättriges gefüttert wird und die Wurzel- und Knollengemüse eher als Leckerchen. Dann passt Deine Fütterung so. |

Guten Morgen zusammen.
Die oben aufgezählten Sachen gibt es "nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise" zu fressen.
Aktuell verfüttere ich wegen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow gar kein Knollengemüse. Ich wollte die Hefen nicht "anheizen" :(
Er war "in voller Blüte" bei einem Gewicht von 2150g ca.
Aktuell ist er bei 1450g. Das ist bitter. Er verhält sich immernoch wie immer. <span class="markcol">Spspan>ielt überall Bergsteiger und erkundet alles und wenn ihm so ist, kommt er angehoppelt, legt er sich auf meinen Bauch und lässt sich kraulen. Aber ist total knochig.
Ich warte gerade noch auf den Anruf meiner TA. Danach würde ich entscheiden, was ich weiter <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>che.
Das ist wirklich nervenzährend.

Das hatte ich auch so verstanden, aber das vorrangig blättrige gilt auch für Kaninchen ohne Hefen. 
Der Gewichtsverlust ist eindeutig zu groß und lässt sich keinesfalls nur mit Hefen erklären. Bitte lass' sie da noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l genauer untersuchen. Ich drücke euch feste die Daumen, dass ihr damit weiterkommt und vor allem, dass es eine gut behandelbare Ursache ist. |

Danke, das ist lieb.
Ich habe jetzt die TA endlich persönlich ans Telefon bekommen und das Mittel für Kaninchen ist zur Zeit nicht lieferbar. Deshalb sollte ich Mykondex Su<span class="markcol">spspan>ension aus der Apotheke holen. Sie meinte, das gunge aus der Hu<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nmedizin auch für Nins. Das bekommt er jetzt 3x tgl. 1,3 ml verabreicht. Habe heute früh damit angefangen. Danach gabs "zur Belohnung 3 Blätter Chicorée. Habe ihn beim Fressen genau beobachtet und habe nicht den Eindruck, dass er irgendwie langsam oder vorsichtig kaut. Da frisst meine Cookie bedächtiger. Das ging alles "rein in den Fressschacht". Und auch beim kraulen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht er keine Anstalten, dass ihm am Kopf irgend etwas unangenehm wäre. Ich kraul ihm die Bäckchen und unter den Ohren und er driftet ins Nirvana ab und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht sich auf meinem Bauch lang. So würde er doch nicht reagieren, wenn er (bei<span class="markcol">spspan>ielsweise durch eine vereiterte Wurzel) Schmerzen hätte. Oder?
Was ich auch die ganze Zeit überlege ist: ich habe ihn und Cookie mit knapp einem Jahr aus ganz schlechter Haltung geholt. Beide waren da<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ls schlimm krank. Ich weiß noch das ich sie Monate lang mit Medis peppeln musste. Ich erinnere mich nur nicht mehr, was es war. Nur an den schleimigen Kot der beiden. Sie sind jetzt so ca. 5 Jahre alt. Ob das vielleicht "<span class="markcol">Spspan>ätfolgen von einem angeschlagenen Verdauungssystem sein können? War ja da<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ls in der Entwicklung<span class="markcol">spspan>hase.
Vom Verhalten her ist er weiterhin aktiv und neugierig. Guckt überall herum und bettelt nach Leckerlie. Das <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht mich zumindest zuversichtlich, dass es ihm soweit gut geht. |

Mykundex enthält den Wirkstoff Nystatin, der wird nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise auch bei Kaninchen verwendet. Das ist wirklich nervig, wenn etwas nicht lieferbar ist. Mir ging's gestern so mit nem Kokzidienmittel.
Kaninchen sind leider Meister im Verstecken von Krankheiten, schließlich wäre es draußen in der Natur fatal, Schwäche zu zeigen. Unter Umständen werden sie dann aus ihrer Kaninchengruppe ausgeschlossen und Raubtieren werden auf die (vermeintlich) leichte Beute aufmerksam. Du hast natürlich recht, so wie Du das beschreibst, klingt das erst ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l nicht nach einem offensichtlichen Zahnproblem, aber irgendeine Ursache wird der Gewichtsverlust haben.
Noch eine Frage: Was hat der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow denn für eine Fellfarbe - ist er das Kaninchen im Avatar und der Körper bis auf die paar Punkte am Kopf überwiegend weiß? Sogenannte Chaplins neigen leider genetisch bedingt zu Verdauung<span class="markcol">spspan>roblemen. Den schleimigen Kot den Du beschreibst könnte auf Kokzidien zurückzuführen sein. Auch dafür sind die Chaplins leider oft empfänglicher als andere Kaninchen. |

@ Charly - danke dir, die Info hatte ich gelesen. Da meine TÄ mich aber erst Freitag Nachmittag aufgeklärt hat, wollte ich nicht auf die Lieferung einer Bestellung (bis Montag oder länger) warten. So hatte ich es schon Freitag.
@ Gretchen - er hat einen braunen Streifen von den Schultern bis zum Hintern, mit ein paar schwarzen Flecken. An den Seiten hat er noch ein paar kleine braune Flecken, wie am Kopf und halt die braunen Ohren. Ich hätte dir gern ein Foto gezeigt, aber hab keine Ahnung, wie ich es hier einstellen kann. |

Sorry das ich hier so unregelmäßig antworte.
Aber immer wenn ich eine Antwort gepostet habe, komme ich im Forum nur noch auf die Hauptansicht und nicht mehr in die Unterforen oder einen Thread hinein. Irgendwann funktioniert es dann wieder... keine Ahnung, woran das liegt.

Meinst du, er könnte ein Chaplin sein?
Ich habe jetzt schon etliche Symptome gefunden, die dafür <span class="markcol">spspan>rechen. Allerdings ist er schon 5 Jahre alt und ich habe gelesen, dass sie frühzeitig Symptome haben und meist nur 1 Jahr <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">MAspan class="markcol">spspan>an>X 5 Jahre alt werden.
Gut, ich habe ihn und Cookie mit starkem Kokzidienbefall aufgenommen. Aber das kam (vermute ich) eher durch die Haltung. Die beiden waren durchnässt und schmutzig, als ich sie mitgenommen habe. Und seither hat er nie Probleme gehabt. "Erst" seit ein paar Monaten.
Symptome, die dafür <span class="markcol">spspan>rechen könnten:
* Unstabile Verdauung, Wechsel zwischen Verstopfung und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>tschkot (wobei er meist eher verstopft als <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>tscht)
* große und kleine unregelmößige Bobbel
* dicker, runder Bauch bei ansonsten eher schlaksigen Körperbau
* Ab<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>gerung, betroffene Kaninchen nehmen nicht oder nur sehr schwer zu, obwohl sie große Nahrungsmengen zu sich nehmen (er frisst echt viel. Aktuell nimmt er allerdings ca. 40-50g pro Woche zu *happy*)
* dünne Stellen am Fell (Hinterläufe - Pfoten und Beine) und aktuell hat er sogar an der Unterseite der Pfote eine kahle Stelle
Ich habe mittlerweile einiges zum The<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an> Megacolon-Syndrom gelesen (wusstest du, dass das auch beim Menschen vorkommt).
Und auf 2 Seiten gab es den Tipp zum "gewicht peppeln":
-> Versele-Vaga Complete Cuni Sensitive zu verabreichen (1 EL in Wasser aufgeweicht pro Tag)
Was haltet ihr von dem Produkt? Von den Inhaltsstoffen scheint es mir nicht sooo verkehrt v(^-^)v
Ich such ja schon die ganze Zeit etwas das ich ihm füttern kann, damit er etwas Reserven aufbaut. Meine kleine knochige Schnute (er wiegt jetzt noch ein halbes Kilo weniger als die dünnste von den Mädels - und er hat insgesamt schon 260g zugenommen *yay* - wenn auch über Wochen hinweg)

Er hat für einen Chaplin noch einen relativ großen Fleckenanteil. Aber selbst wenn er kein Chaplin ist, die Verdauung<span class="markcol">spspan>robleme wie bei<span class="markcol">spspan>ielsweise ein Megacolon kann auch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l bei einem "Nicht-Chaplin" auftreten. Daher ändert die Info, ob oder ob nicht im Prinzip erst <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l nichts an der Behandlung, mit der versucht wird, die damit verbundenen Probleme zu beseitigen oder zumindest zu lindern.
Dass Chaplins nur 5 Jahre alt werden, kann <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n so pauschal nicht sagen. Aber oft werden sie nicht alt - leider. Die Dame von der ich weiter oben ein Foto eingestellt hab, war meine <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ja, bei der ich auch davon ausgehe, dass sie ein Chaplin war. Sie ist 7 geworden. Die ersten 2-3 Lebensjahre hat <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n bis auf Kokis und die großen Böbbel kaum etwas bemerkt. Zuletzt konnte sie die Nahrung nur noch schlecht verwerten und war trotz zufüttern sehr dünn.
Das Cuni Complete füttere ich übrigens aufgeweicht für meine Zahnpatientin. Sie kann zwar noch alles essen, aber relativ langsam, so dass sie inzwischen auch ein wenig "Zubrot" braucht, damit sie ihr Gewicht gut halten kann. Die werden von vielen Kaninchen auch ganz gern gefuttert. Also probieren kannst Du es ja <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l. |

Hm, okay.
Aber gegen eine prophylaktische Diät wäre eigentlich nichts einzuwenden, oder?
Ich mein, auch den Mädels würde es nicht schaden, Diät zu halten?
Meine Vorstellung geht gerade in die Richtung:
Frische Kräuter, bevorzugt Dill
Fenchel mit Grün
Möhrenkraut
Staudensellerie
Petersilienwurzel
Endiviensalat
Chicoreesalat
Löwenzahn
Kürbiskerne
Zweige von Heidelbeere und Haselnuss
Dazu natürlich immer Heu und Wasser (das braucht <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n glaube ich nicht extra erwähnen).
Keine Futtermitteln mit hohem Stärke- bzw. Zuckergehalt, um einen wiederkehrenden Hefenbefall zu vermeiden.
Zum Gewicht peppeln, nur für <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow, 1x tgl 1 EL Versele-Vaga Complete Cuni Sensitive.
Ich habe etwas von Kräutertees gelesen, aber nichts dazu gefunden, was das für Tees sein sollten... kennt ihr euch damit aus?
Ergänzungen? Korrekturvorschläge?
Ich habe auch nicht gegen einen Vorschlag zur "Tagesrationierung",
da ich bisher dazu geneigt habe"morgens und abends rin - was sie brauchen, werden sie fressen - was nicht, das nicht" v(^-^)v
Zu den Eltern kann ich leider gar nichts sagen.
Wie gesagt, ich habe sie aus schlechter Haltung mitgenommen. Es hieß "abzugeben, weil die Ohren bei Regen ins Wasser hängen". Zum Glück ist mein Freund so ein Lieber und musste nicht dazu überredet werden, die heruntergekommenen Fellknäuel kurzerhand mitzunehmen. Ging dann ohne Zwischenstopp erst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l zum Tierarzt. Mehr weiß ich von den Vorbesitzern nicht. Cookie und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>llow schienen so ein typisches "Ostergeschenk" für die Kinder gewesen zu sein. Sie hießen vorher auch Louis Vuitton Guccio Gucci oder so Da passten die nicht perfekten Kaninchen natürlich nicht ins Bild der Besitzer. Wer weiß, woher die die zwei hatten. |

Was genau möchtest Du denn mit der Diät erreichen? Dass die Verdauung nicht mehr so "anfällig" ist? Da wäre eine möglichst naturnahe Fütterung mit Wiese bzw. falls nicht möglich mit überwiegend blättrigem Anteil ideal. Deine Liste liest sich soweit gut. Gleiche Frage für den Tee - was soll er unterstützen? Bei Bauchweh und Neigung zum Blähbauch wäre bei<span class="markcol">spspan>ielsweise Fenchel eine gute Idee. Den Tee würde ich dann jeweils verdünnt mit Wasser und zusätzlich immer auch "nur Wasser" in einem anderen Napf anbieten, so dass sie die Wahl haben. Wenn es nicht angenommen wird, könntest Du auch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l probieren ob Du es über darin eingeweichte Cunis an den <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nn (oder die Frau) bringen kannst. |
