Hallo und schonmal <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> großes Danke!
Ich war gestern mit m<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Chico 6 Jahre alt beim Tierarzt. <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Aufspan>grund das er nicht mehr richtig gefressen hat, also k<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> Heu mehr und alles was quasi zu mahlen war. Er hatte nur noch Cuni und anderes Futter angenommen, was natürlich nicht <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Lösung s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> kann. Auch war <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e Verklebung bis zu den Pfoten deutlich sehbar.
Angekommen beim Tierarzt m<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>te Sie das <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> der linken Seite im Oberkiefer ALLE Zähne wackeln und raus müssen und <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> der rechten <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>er der sichtbar Probleme macht. Ich wurde mit Schmerzmittel und <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Brei nach Hause geschickt. Chico zeigt deutlich das er Hunger und Durst hat und ist auch so relativ fit. <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Diespan> Tierärztin m<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>te ich solle am <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Diespan>nstag kommen, dort würde dann <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> Röngtenbild gemacht und anschließend geguckt ob noch weitere Zähne raus müssen und wie es genau aussieht und anschließend wird er in Narkose gelegt und <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Zähne gezogen. <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Aufspan> <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Frage, warum <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Zähne denn so schlecht s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> bekam ich <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Antwort das er wohl viel zu kl<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> und überzüchtet sei. Er wog 1,1 KG und ist auch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> wirklich zierlicher Bub der aber bis jetzt noch NIE Probleme hatte!
Da ich bis jetzt noch k<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> Kaninchen mit Zahnproblemen hatte und ich wirklich geschockt bin das Sie m<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>t oben müssen ALLE raus hoffe ich <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> Rat von euch.

Hallo und herzlich willkommen hier im Forum!
Leider sind Kaninchen Meister im Verstecken von Schmerzen und Krankheiten. Wenn sie erst <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>mal <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Aufspan>fälligkeiten zeigen, dann liegt meist schon <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Einspan>iges im Argen. Daher gut, dass Du Chico beim Tierarzt vorgestellt hast.
Bei Kaninchen sind leider viele Zahnprobleme erworben. Das Gebiss ist zum Kauen blättriger Bestandteile (Wiese, Kräuter,...) ideal. Harte Futterbestandteile wie Pellets, Johannisbrot oder Erbsenflocken können dem Gebiss hingegen schaden. Auch stückige Futtersorten wie Wurzel- oder Knollengemüse sind nicht ideal. Daneben gibt es auch genetisch bedingte Zahnprobleme, <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> kl<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>er Kopf kann <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan>se leider auch begünstigen.
So wie D<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> Tierarzt es schon plant, sollten erst <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>mal <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> <span class="markcol">hochspan><span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>gelöstes CT oder Röntgen<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>nahmen gemacht werden, um sich <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Überblick zu verschaffen, denn durch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e Maulinspektion sieht man leider nur <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Teil (<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Kronen) des Gebisses.
Wenn links oben alle Zähne gezogen werden müssen, wird Chico im Anschluss sicher vor allem <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> der besseren rechten Seite kauen. Leider kann es passieren dass <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Zähne im Unterkiefer links sich durch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> fehlenden Gegenspieler nicht mehr ausreichend abnutzen. Da müsste der Tierarzt dann vor allem in der Anfangszeit nach der OP regelmäßig kontrollieren und <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan>se bei Bedarf <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>schleifen.
Ist D<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> Tierarzt für solche <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Einspan>griffe grundsätzlich erfahren? Wenn Du möchtest, kannst Du Dir vor dem <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Einspan>griff auch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e zweite M<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>ung <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>es anderen Tierarztes <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>holen. Dafür kannst Du Dir von D<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>em Tierarzt auch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>genommenen Röntgenbilder aushändigen lassen und zum zweiten mitnehmen bzw. <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Bilder dort hin schicken.

Ich werde den Tierarzt <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>jedenfall bitten mich sofort nach den Rögntenbildern anzurufen, um mir bescheid zu geben wieviele Zähne raus müssen. Sie m<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>te wenn da sowieso schon <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> der <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Seite oben alle raus müssen, sowie <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> der anderen mindestens <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>er und dann noch mehr möglicherweise dazu kommen würden, würden Sie das garnicht mehr machen.
Wie ist denn für <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Kaninchen <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Lebensqualität ohne soviele Zähne?
Zahnprobleme waren bei uns noch nie Thema und wenn ich mir vorstelle das alle oberen Backenzähne komplett fehlen, ist das doch schon <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e heftige Be<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>trächtigung. Sie hatte mir auch erzählt, dass danach <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> untere Zähne Probleme machen könnten, oder es zu <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Abzess kommen könnte, oder im schlimmsten Fall der Kiefer <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>gibt.
Ich habe soviel Angst vor <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">Diespan>nstag und vorallem weil ich nicht weiß wie "gut" Chico damit leben kann, vorrausgesetzt Sie finden nicht noch mehr und es würd alles gut gehen!

Um das so genau wie möglich vorab zu klären, ist <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e gute Diagnostik sehr wichtig. Und dann fällt es Dir sicher auch leichter, gem<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>sam mit dem behandelnden Tierarzt <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> beste Lösung für den kl<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Mann zu finden. |

Ich bin fix und fertig. Chico hatte heute s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e OP. Es hat sich herausgestellt das außer den Oberen Backenzähne noch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>ige mehr raus müssen. Sie haben heute <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Backenzähne oben links alle entfernt und unten rechts <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en. Chico hatte währrend der OP 2x <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Atemstillstand...
Mittlerweile sind wir wieder seit 19:00 daheim. Man merkt das er Schmerzen hat und es Ihn nicht gut geht.
Er hat Metacam, Metamizol, Baylril und den Rodicare Brei mitbekommen.
Er trinkt und nimmt abundzu <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> bisschen was vom Brei. Freitag haben wir den ersten Kontrolltermin.
Was mir allerdings Große Sorge bereitet, er hält s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Kopf schief. Also sehr nach Links gebeugt, dort wo <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Zähne eben entfernt wurden und kneift auch dort <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>wenig das Auge. Kann das eben von den Schmerzen durch <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> gezogenen Zähne kommen und ist "normal" nach so<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>er OP oder müssen wir heute rasch wieder dort hin?
Mache mir echt Sorgen! :( |

Guten Abend!
Ich denke, das hast Du inzwischen auch schon gemacht - ich würde als erstes mit dem Arzt, der operiert hat, sprechen. Der sollte Dir zumindest sagen können, ob er <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Kopfschiefhaltung im Zusammenhang mit der OP sieht. Grundsätzlich kann es s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>, dass der linke Gesichtsnerv gereizt oder anderweitig in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurde. Aber auch andere Erkrankungen wie EC oder Entzündungen im Mittelohrbereich können <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en schiefen Kopf hervorrufen. Auch wenn ich hoffe, dass nun nicht noch andere Probleme zu der "Zahnbaustelle" hinzukommen.
Wie geht es Chico denn inzwischen?
Schau bitte sicherheitshalber mal, ob er beide Augen komplett schließen kann. Falls nicht müsstest Du das betreffende Auge mit künstlichen Tränen feucht halten. Vitamin B hilf bei der Regeneration von Nerven. Das kannst Du gern unterstützend geben (auch wenn es Kaninchen leider in der Regel nicht schmeckt). |

Chico geht es <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>jedenfalm schon besser! Den Kopf hält er nur noch ab und zu schief ansonsten ist er komplett gerade und normal weswegen <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Tierärztin auch davon ausgeht, das es von den Schmerzen kommt. Er ist komischerweiße von den Versele Laga Cuni in der "natürlichen" Form, also un<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan>geweicht mehr angetan als von s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Brei. Frisst <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan>se auch aber natürlich sehr vorsichtig und langsam. Habe Ihn davon aber nur ganz wenige gegeben und sonst ausschließlich s<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>en Brei.
Könnt ich Ihn den trotzdem <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Cunis normal anbieten oder wäre das noch zu früh?
Er trinkt realtiv gut aber mit dem fressen ist er noch nicht ganz so <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">aufspan> der Höhe. Er tut aber beides von all<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>e, also ich musste garnicht päppeln worüber ich sehr froh bin dass er das so hinbekommt.
Mit den Augen ist alles ok

Das liest sich doch schon sehr gut.
Cunis in trockener Originalform sind - so wie alle anderen Pellets auch - leider generell nicht gut für das Kaninchengebiss. Aber vielleicht kannst Du es dem Gebiss zuliebe mal mit <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan>er Zwischenversion versuchen - <span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">diespan> Pellets also nur etwas mit Wasser vollsaugen lassen, so dass sie nicht mehr so hart, aber noch k<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">einspan> Brei sind. |
