Hallo zusammen,

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>nach langer Zeit des Lesens und dem Einholen von Informationen haben wir uns jetzt auch im Forum angemeldet.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wir haben unseren Joey im Fe<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>uar bekommen, weil die Besitzerin in Urlaub ging.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Joey ist ein <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>auner Zwergwidder, war zu diesem Zeitpunkt 10 Monate alt und wurde einzeln im Käfig gehalten. Seine Besitzerin ist berufstätig und so konnte er nur morgens und abends etwas Freilauf genießen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Als erstes entfernten wir die Käfigtür und überließen ihm die gesamte Wohnung als Freiraum. Er hat im Gegensatz zu seinem Zuhause bei uns niemals Möbel oder Kabel angeknabbert und war stubenrein. Natürlich bekam er auch ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten - was er sichtlich genoß. Er hoppelte zu uns auf das Sofa, entdeckte zwei neue Unterschlupfe (unter dem Bett und unter dem Ecktisch im Wohnzimmer) und fühlte sich offensichtlich wohl bei uns. Seinen Käfig benutzt er nur noch als Toilette.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Nach dem Urlaub der Besitzerin stellte sich heraus, dass sie eigentlich froh war, dass sie ihn auf Dauer bei uns lassen konnte.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wir haben Joey schon während der Urlaubspflege von Trockenfutter auf Frischfutter umgestellt. Außerdem bekommt er bei uns immer frische Äste von den Apfelbäumen unseres Gartens.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Nachdem er bisher noch nicht geimpft war, wurden dies jetzt nachgeholt ( RHD u. Myxo) und im Juni war es dann mit seiner Männlichkeit vorbei. Die Kastration verlief problemlos.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Nach 6 Wochen Wartezeit und einigen Erkundigungen im örtlichen Tierheim packten wir Joey Anfang August in eine Transportbox und <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>achten ihn ins Tierheim. Dort hatten sie auch eine Häsin, die schätzungsweise im Alter von Joey war und erst 4 Wochen dort war. Sie ist mitten in Nürnberg im Bereich der Stadtmauer gefunden worden.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Die Pflegerin hat die beiden in einer separaten Box zusammen gesetzt und dann ging die Post ab. Nach einiger Zeit des Beobachtens meinte die Tierpflegerin, dass sich die beiden bestimmt verstünden. Also haben wir die Häsin (schwarz, Zwergwidder) mit nach Hause genommen - aber erst, nachdem wir unterschrieben hatten, dass sie nicht verspeist werden dürfe .
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Dort ging es erst mal rund: jagen durch die ganze Wohnung, Fellknäuel, usw. Aber wir hatten Glück: nach zwei Tagen herrschte zwischen den beiden absolute Einigkeit und das ist auch noch heute so.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Da über Schnuffi (so nenne wir sie) nichts bekannt war, bekam auch sie das Impfprogramm (RHD und Myxo).
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie sind ein Herz und eine Seele. Gemeinsames Kuscheln, Ablecken und Herumtollen sind angesagt. Inzwischen ist auch Schnuffi zutraulich geworden und kommt auf uns zu, um sich streicheln zu lassen. Joey ist sowieso ein richtiges Kuschel- u. Streichelkaninchen. Schnuffi ist auch stubenrein und muss vorher Familienanschluss gehabt haben. Sonst ist nicht zu erklären, warum ich Schokolade (= überhaupt nichts für Kaninchen) vor ihr verstecken muss.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Von Anfang an haben wir unser Wissen über Kaninchenhaltung aus Sweetrabbits bezogen, da wir ja bisher keine Tiere gehalten hatten.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Die Seite hat uns erst ermöglicht, unsere beiden Ninchen artgerecht und gesund zu halten.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Heute sind wir so weit, dass wir uns nicht vorstellen können, ohne Joey und Schnuffi auszukommen. Allerdings haben wir auch einige Problemchen gesundheitlicher Art, aber darüber fragen wir mal im entsprechenden Forum nach.  |
