Baycox 2,5 % und 5% |

Hallo zusammen,
eine kurze Frage, mein Schröder hat Kokdizien und verschrieben wurde mir Baycox 2,5%, das soll man ja nicht geben, da es zu stark ist.
Hab nun wieder meine Tierärztin angerufen und gefragt, ob ich das 5 % bekommen könnte. Sie bestellt es mir nun, ist aber der Meinung, dass das 2,5%tige niedriger dosiert ist, als das 5%tige.
Hab schon versucht bei Googel etwas zu finden, leider aber ohne Erfolg.
Kann mir jmd eine kurze Erklärung schreiben?!

Hallo Annika,
ich selber habe für meine beiden vergangene Woche Panacur bekommen, was aber scheinbar garnicht gegen Kokzidien ist!! 
Gestern wurde ich hier darüber <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>fgeklärt dass Baycox verschrieben werden sollte. Und zwar das 5%, <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f keinen Fall das 2,5% weil dieses die Schleimhäute der kleinen reizt und zusätzlich noch verdünnt werden sollte. |

Zudem wird das 2,5%ige Baycox bei Geflügel angewandt.

Hallo Annika,
ich versuche dir mal zu helfen.
Das 2,5% Baycox ist zu alkalisch für Säuger und kann bei ihnen schwere Schleimh<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>treizungen hervorrufen - deshalb hat man früher 2 Teile Baycox 2,5% mit einem Teil Wasser und einem Teil Propylenglykol gemischt - dieses ist aber nicht mehr gesetzeskonform.
Das 2,5% Baycox wird heutzutage für Geflügel angewendet und dort dann <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch eher prophylaktisch übers Trinkwasser verabreicht.
Bei dem 5% Baycox sind 50mg/ml enthalten, bei dem 2,5% sind nur 25mg/ml enthalten - demnach müsste von dem 2,5% die doppelte Menge gegeben werden um die gleiche Wirkstoffemenge wie bei dem 5% zu haben. |

In dem Baycox 2,5% ist also ein Wirkstoff der die Schleimhäute der Kanichen stark reizen kann und in dem Baycox 5% ist dieser Wirkstoff nicht, richtig?!

Naja, eigentlich beantwortet sich die Frage doch schon alleine, oder? 
Wir würden kein Medikament empfehlen, wenn es schaden würde und es gibt einfach Unterschiede bei den Medikamenten, weil sie ja <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch für zwei unterschiedliche Zielgruppen und Einsatzgebiete gedacht sind.
Das 5% Baycox ist übrings weiß und das 2,5% klar. |

der neue TA gab mir dann ein ganz anderes Mittel als das Baycox und sagte mir, dass das 2,5%ige sogar für Kaninchen verboten ist (kaninchen stehen <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch gar nicht <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f der packung dr<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>f)

Soooo, nun aber, habe jetzt das Baycox 5% bekommen. Ich soll jetzt 0,5 ml - 1 mal täglich geben 3 Tage lang, dann 3 Tage P<<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>se und dann wieder 3 Tage Baycox 5% geben. Der kleine Schröder wiegt 2,2 kg. Was sagt ihr zu der Dosierung??

Also sind 0,5ml am Tag ok, bei der 3-3-3 variante? Wie ist die Dosierung bei 1-5-1 Variante?? |

Hallo Annika,
Susi hat ja in ihrem Beitrag <<span <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">auspan <span class="markcol">classspan>="markcol">spspan>an>ch geschrieben, wieviel gegeben werden soll: Es sind 0,4ml / kg Körpergewicht bei dem Schema 1-5-1.
Bei dem Schema 3-3-3 wird in der Regel 0,2ml / kg Körpergewicht gegeben.
Insofern sind die 0,5ml in Ordnung. |
