Also hab das Ergebnis der Kotprobe bekommen.Kokzidien bzw Eilemien oder wie die heißen.Er bekommt jetzt ein Mittel dagegen und Krümelchen wird natürlich mitbehandelt.
Wie <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht ihr das mit der Reinigung vom Gehege? Meine sitzen ja noch in so einem nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>len Stall und sollten für unseren Urlaub heut oder morgen in das neue Gehege u.ziehen. Jetzt meinte die TÄ ich solle sie lieber nach der abgeschlossenen Behandlung umsetzten. Weil <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n die Umgebung schldcht davon befreien könnte.Das hieße aber, dass sie 10 Tage in dem Stall sitzen.... und Stress soll ich vermeiden.Dachte nämlich es wäre dann besser wenn ich sie zu meiner Freundin bringe.Da hätten sie im Gehe auf der Wiese laufen können.Hier sind sie ja allein, und meine Freundin würde nur kommen um zu füttern und sauber <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen.

Mich würde auch erst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l die Behandlung interessieren.
Ich würde ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l gründlich und mit tierverträglichem Desinfektionsmittel während der Behandlung<span class="markcol">spspan>ause und dann natürlich am Ende der Behandlung reinigen.
Wichtig ist auch eine erneute Kotprobe nach Abschluss der Behandlung, nicht, dass sie sich durch die Umgebung erneut infizieren...

Baycox ist ein sehr starkes Medikament. Daher würde ich nach dem ersten Behandlungszyklus eine Kotprobe abgeben. Sollte die sauber sein, kannst Du Dir und Schnuffel einen zweiten Durchlauf <span class="markcol">spspan>aren.

Alexandra (MIssSnoop) hat es ja schon gesagt: Zu Beginn und nach Beendigung der behandlung je ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l das Gehege mit einem tierverträglichen(!) Deisnfektionsmittel reinigen. Hölzerne Einrichtungsgegenstände im Backofen ausbacken, Näpfe, Raufen, etc in die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ül<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>schine, und wenn du Strohhäuschen, Heutunnel oder so etwas hast, das <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n nicht reinigen kann, weg damit.

1) Ja genau, 2 Tage GAbe, 2 Tage Pause, 2 Tage Gabe und ich denke <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l nach der längeren Pause (urlaub) wird das leiche Che<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an> ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht, da hat sich die TÄ nicht genau geäußert. Wieso meinst du, dass es eine Leberkokzidiose sein könnte?
Wenn ihr erst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l 2 - 2 - 2 gegeben habt, solltet ihr dann nach eurem Urlaub erst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l noch eine Kotprobe abgeben, ob eine weitere Gabe überhaupt nötig ist. Denn nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise erzielt <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n ja gerade mit der Gabe mit Pause zwischen, dass alle Kokzidien absterben. Denn Baycox wirkt nicht auf alle Stadien der Entwicklung von Kokzidien, aber nach der Pause sind auch die zuvor noch nicht entwickelten Tiere soweit, dass Baycox wirkt.
Ob du sie in das neue Gehege setzt, kannst du nur entscheiden, wie kompliziert die Reinigung für dich ist. Unsere Empfehlung kennst du. |

Blutbild gestern in Ordnung bis auf die Leukos, die sind noch weiter gefallen.
Wie kann das sein? Bin ja zur Zeit nicht selber vor Ort. Meine Freundin, war mit Schnuffel beim Doc. Er hat jetzt ne <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze bekommen um die Bildung anzuregen. Und soll Donnerstag noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l so eine bekommen. Dann nächste Woche wieder Blutbild. Kann sie denn was bestimmtes vielleicht auch füttern, was das anregt?
Übrigens gab es die GAbe von dem Kokzidienmittel doch nur 2 Tage, kann das denn auch schon reichen? Ich erreiche die Klinik gerade nicht, um selber <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l nachzuhören.

Also brauch noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l eure Hilfe.
Die Kokzidien werden ja behandelt und das rote Blutbild bessert sich immer mehr und ist inzwischen fast komplett im nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>len Bereich. Allerdings fallen die weißen Blutkörperchen immer weiter. Schnuffel bekommt jetzt wieder 1 Woche Antibiotika <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l schauen ob das was bringt. Die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze zur Immununterstützung hat nix gebracht (weiß nicht mehr wie es heißt).
Habt ihr einen Tipp was ich selber noch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen kann? Ich füttere jetzt schon Immununtersützendes Gemüse, aber das scheint auch nicht zu helfen. Könnte das an der geschädigten Leber durch die Eimerien liegen? Die Leberwerte sind inzwischen aber auch wieder fast völlig in Ordnung. |

wie kamt ihr überhaupt auf ein Blutbild bei einer Kokzidiose? Nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise ja nicht die typische Diagnosemethode.
Interessiert mich nur ein<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l.
Habt ihr SICHER festgetsellt, dass das Tier eine Leberkokzidiose hatte? So einen Befall sicher wegzubehandeln ist leider nur wenig wahrscheinlich, darum frage ich.
Eine Leukopenie aufgrund von Leberschäden ist ungewöhnlich, denn die Leber hat mit der Leukozytenproduktion wenig zu tun. Antibiotika dagegen könne die Zahl der weißen Blutkörperchen herabsetzen, ich würde da also abwarten und schauen. was nach Absetzen des Antibiotikums passiert. Sollte es daran liegen, dürfte sich der Leukozytenwert danach ja wieder erholen.
Insgesamt bin ich leider nicht ganz im Bilde über eure Proble<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>tik. Ist es richtig, dass "eigentlich" das einzige Problem eine (Leber??)Kokzidiose ist, und ihr anhand von Blutuntersuchungen festgestellt habt, dass seit behandlungsbeginn gegen die Kokzidien die Zahl der weißen Blutkörperchen sinkt?
Weshalb bekommt, wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, das Tier ein Antibiotikum? Zur Kokzidienbekämpfung ist das nicht nötig, und von einer Infektion hast du weiter nichts erwähnt, so weit ich sehe. Im Ultraschall fand <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n aber nix.
2)Bei der Kotprobe dann wurden Eimerien festgestellt. (Das sind ja die Kokzidien, die die Leber befallen)
3) Wie gesagt, das Blutbild war sehr schlecht und das wurde etwa jede Woche kontrolliert. Er bekam ein Mittel für die Leber, Antibiotika vor 3 Wochen schon <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l, und er bekommt Floradix Kräuterblut zum Blutaufbau.
Die Werte stabilisieren sich aber stetig und sind fast alle Nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l. Außer eben diesem Wert für die weißen Blutkörperchen, der sinkt nach wie vor.
Und der Wert von den Lymphos und den Granulos sind wohl im falschen Verhältnis.
Das Antibiotika bekommt er nicht wegen den Kokzidien, sondern weil sie davon ausgehen, dass er sonst wo eine Infektion hat, wohl aufgrund von diesem verschobenen Verhältnis der Lymphos zu den Granulos.

Hallo, da die Kokzidien jetzt Behandlungsende haben, und meine beiden süßen dann die Tage in ihr endgültiges Gehege ziehen sollen, hab ich noch ne Frage.
Ich habe eine Korkröhre und frage mich wie ich die am besten desinfiziere? Im Internet hab ich gelesen, dass sie kochendes Wasser vertragen. Würde es denn ausreichen die Röhre mit kochendem Wasser aus dem Wasserkocher zu übergießen? Bzw. könnte ich sie auch in den Backofen legen? Weiß net genau, weil das ja Holz ist. Oder sollte ich dieses Tierverträgliche Desinfektionsmittel nehmen?

Hallo Luna,
diese Korkröhren sind eigentlich sehr duldsam, was Reparaturen angeht. Eigentlich sind die Dinger ja meist in der Aquaristik zu finden, darum auch absolut wasserverträglich. ABER etwas mit heißem Wasser zu übergießen reicht meist nciht aus, denn so schnell wie das Wasser runterkühlt reicht das häfig nciht, um gewisse bakterienstämme zu erledigen.
Die Backofenvariante wäre mir in dem Fall lieber und geht auch problemlos. Nur auf 250°C braten muss <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n die Röhren nun nicht. Meines Wissens nach hört der Toleranzbereich der Kokzidien irgendwo bei 60°C auf, also reicht es, die Röhren bei 70° auszubacken - aber auch hier gilt: Ein Weilchen muss diese Hitze schon Zeit bekommen, zu wirken. Ich würde sagen, vom Gefühl her (denn da weiß ich nun keine Richtwerte) sollte es schon eine Viertelstunde Sauna sein, für die Kokzidien.

| Ok, vielen dank. Dann muss ich ja das gute Stück doch nicht entsorgen. Das wäre nämlich echt Schade gewesen. |
