Liebe Kaninchenfreunde,
heute nacht sollte es für uns in Urlaub gehen -sollte wohlgemerkt. Gestern abend lag Karo zitternd im Käfig, ganz flach, <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n hat ihr das Bauchweh richtig angesehen. Hat nichts gegessen. Der Bauch war prall.
Also waren wir beim Tierarzt. Sie meinte nach dem Röntgen: Verdacht auf Blinddar<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ufschoppung. Jetzt geben wir morgens und abends Colosan
BeneBac und
Traumeel (gegen die Schmerzen).
Wenn es nach 2 Tagen nicht besser ist, sollen wir wieder kommen oder sofort bei Verschlechterung.
Heute hat sie mittel viel Heu gegessen und 1 Stengel Dill und ganz wenig Petersilie.
Es kamen heute so 10 Köttel.
Mein Freund, der die Frühschicht heute mit ihr hatte, meinte, sie sei ein bißchen gelaufen. Jetzt liegt sie wieder da. Das Zittern ist weg, aber trotzdem weiß ich nicht ob sie Schmerzen hat oder das nur ihr Mittag<span class="markcol">spspan>äuschen ist.
Nun meine Frage:
1. Ist das Essen bei der Menge eine wirkliche Verbesserung? Ab wann muss <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n denn zufüttern? Und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht ihr das gleich mit Critical care oder erst <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l Möhrenbrei? Möhre darf sie doch, oder?
2. Habt ihr Tipps, wie ich sie dazu bekomme, sich mehr zu bewegen? es ist doch bestimmt stressig für sie, wenn ich sie jetzt noch rumjage?
3. soll ich noch Sab Simplex geben? Das habe ich hier gelesen, aber die TÄ hat es nicht gesagt.

Eigentlich beschreibt der Begriff Anschoppung einen Zustand, das sich an einem Punkt, in deinem Fall anscheined der Blinddarm, Darminhalt aus irgendeinem Grund staut, das können Haare sein, die das auslösen, aber es kann auch viele andere Gründe haben. Wichtig ist zunächst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l das Köddel kommen, selbst wenn es nicht sehr viele sind.
Solange sie noch kommen, ist die Darmpassage nicht gänzlich verschlossen und es besteht die Hoffnung das sich die Anschoppung langsam auflöst.
Die Häsin frisst noch selber, das ist ein gutes Zeichen, päppeln würde ich bei einer Anschoppung nicht ohne ärztliche Anweisung, es muss beim Päppeln sicher sein, das kein Verschluss vorliegt.
Bewegung ist nicht verkehrt, aber du hast recht, jagen sollst du sie nicht, du kannst versuchen, sie vorsichtig zu motivieren, aber keinen Zwang ausüben.
Sab Simplex ist ein sogenannter Entschäumer, es löst Gasbläschen auf und wird deshalb bei Aufgasungen eingesetzt. Ist sie denn auch aufgegast?
Wenn du dir nicht sicher bist, lieber früher als zu <span class="markcol">spspan>ät, wieder zum Tierarzt gehen. |

Ich war jetzt noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l beim TA. Wir sollen Critical Care geben. O-Ton: "Das schmeckt denen meistens von alleine." Aber sie isst es jetzt nicht von alleine.
Angeblich keine Verstopfung. Es seien Köttel im Darm, deshalb hat sie ihr Paraffinöl gegeben, jetzt hat sie 4 kleine Köttel abgesetzt.
Aufgegast sei sie noch nicht, deshalb sollen wir kein Sab Simplex geben.
Wie gebt ihr das CC? Irgendwelche Ideen? Ich muss ihr doch schon das Schmerzmittel und Colosan und Bene Bac einflößen |

Ja, die TÄ hat ein Röntgenbild ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht und Parafinöl gegeben.
Karo isst aber nix. Lediglich 1 Blatt Basilikum, drei Dillstengel und einen Petersiliestengel konnte ich ihr im Laufe des Tages unterjubeln.
Heusud trinkt sie gerne, isst aber kein Heu.
Die TÄ meinte sie braucht Rohfaser, deshalb das CC. Das war furchtbar: sie <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g es nicht und mit der <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze war's eine Qual für uns alle. Es ging auch einiges daneben und mir graut es schon vor der nächsten Runde.
Es dauert auch so lange, weil wir 1ml <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen bekommen haben, von denen wir die <span class="markcol">Spspan>itze ab<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen sollten. Nur musste ich das CC so flüssig <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen, dass es in die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze geht.
Ich habe das Gefühl, es geht ihr viel besser, wenn wir nicht in der Nähe sind. Aber gleichzeitig muss das Zeug ja rein. <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l überlege ich, ob sie mehr essen, wenn wir nicht in der Nähe sind.
Ich schaue <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l, ob es mit Kügelchen besser geht. Was nicht geklappt hat beim CC: Äpfelchen reinra<span class="markcol">spspan>eln und Möhrenbrei untermischen.

Ich brauche weiter dringend eure Hilfe.
Wir haben heute nacht 2 schlimme Sessions gehabt. Das CC will Karo nicht, in keiner Konstellation.
Jetzt haben wir versucht das zu <span class="markcol">spspan>ritzen, aber sind zu blöd dafür. Ich habe nur insgesamt nur 8ml in sie reingekriegt in der ganzen Nacht. Und das verdünnt! Das reicht doch nicht.
Kekse <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g sie auch nicht aus CC, auch keine Kugeln. Das einzige was ich noch mit Ach und Krach reinbekomme ist Dill und Petersilie.
Wie bekommt <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n das mit der <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze hin? Und wie bekommt ihr den Brei überhaupt in die 1ml-<span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze?
Ich bin zu blöd dafür und völlig fertig mit den Nerven!
Was ist zu tun, wenn wir das mit der <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze nicht hinbekommen?
Muss sie dann in die Klinik?
Ich habe solche Angst um meine Kleine!

Zunächst <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l tief durchatmen, wenn du so panisch an die Sache rangehst, überträgt sich das auf das Tier, sie muss ja denken du willst ihr ans Leben, klar das sie sich dann vermehrt wehrt.
Hast du schon versucht, das Critical Care mit ungesüsstem Apfel- oder Karottenbrei (Babynahrung) zu vermischen? Nicht alle Tiere stehen auf CC.
Was die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze angeht, wenn du damit nicht klar kommst, geh in die Apotheke und kauf dir, eine größere <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze, die vor allem auch eine größere Öffnung hat, es gibt unterschiedliche Modelle, lass dir notfalls ein paar zeigen bzw. erkläre was du damit vorhast.
Wenn du damit fütterst, versuch erst ob sie die neue Mischung von der <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze ableckt, wenn sie das nicht tut, <span class="markcol">spspan>ritze ihr kleine Mengen ins <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ul und warte ab ob sie schluckt. Wenn alles nicht klappt kannst du ihr das Zeug auch auf die Pfoten schmieren, wenn es ihr nicht ganz schlecht geht wird sie sich ablecken um sich zu reinigen. Bei diesem Verfahren bitte unbedingt darauf achten, ob sie sich zügig und ordentlich putzt, du willst ja keine Fliegen anziehen. |

Ein paar Köttel sind jetzt da.
Karo frisst von alleine nix. Nur 1 Blatt Basilikikum und wenige Stengel Dill und Petersilie konnte ich ihr andrehen im Laufe des Tages. Keinerlei Frishfutter, Heu nur ganz wenig.
Heusud trinkt sie.
Aber die TÄ meinte, es muss Rohfaser dazukommen, deshalb das CC.
Das CC ist natürlich gar nicht ihrs. Wir mussten die blöden <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen nehmen, die TA meinte mit 1ml klappt es am besten. Es ist furchtbar und für uns alle nur Stress. Ich musste es sehr flüssig <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen um überhaupt in die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze reinzubekommen, dement<span class="markcol">spspan>rechend länger ging die ganze Prozedur. Wir haben auch nicht so gut getroffen und etwas ging daneben.
Ich habe Angst, dass ihr der Stress am Ende noch mehr zusetzt.
Ich habe das Gefühl, es geht ihr besser, wenn wir nicht in der Nähe sind.
Ich selbst bin auch schon ganz fertig.

Ergänzend zu Carolines Antwort hilft Dir evtl. noch die folgende Bilddoku zur Medikamentengabe >KLICK HIER!< . Wenn Du reines Critical Care (ohne Haferflocken) verwendest, sollte es auch <span class="markcol">spspan>ritzengängig sein. Ich würde allerdings auch etwas größere <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen verwenden, mit den 1ml-<span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen ist das dann doch ein größeres Gefummel.
Böbbel kommen aber nach wie vor? Wie geht es ihr denn ansonsten und wann sollst Du wieder zum Tierarzt zur Kontrolle? |

1. Ihr habt recht: ich bin wahrscheinlich zu panisch, wie immer. versuche mich selbst zu beruhigen. Der Hasenpapa ist cooler.
2. ihr habt noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ls recht: die kleinen <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen sind ein Gefummel. Ich war extra noch bei einem weiteren Tierarzt, der auch keine größeren hatte und meinte, die 1ml wären am besten.
Beide Ärzte finde ich nicht so toll, jetzt wo es um mehr als das impfen geht.
Morgen sollen wir wieder kommen, damit sie sich noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l die Zähne anschauen, obwohl sie am Mittwoch meinten, die sähen okay aus.
3. Das CC <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g sie leider auch nicht mit Babybrei, als Kugel oder Keks -gar nicht. Von dem Zeug gehen unter großem Protest immer nur ca. 5ml in die Kleine rein, mehr habe ich bisher nicht geschafft. Laut TA heißt das alle 2 Stunden füttern, damit die Mini<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lmenge geschafft wird, auch wenn das für das Tier anstrengend ist. Was für ein Stress für die Kleine, aber auch da: ich versuche die größere <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze in der Apotheke zu finden.
4. sie putzt sich eigentlich ständig, auch wegen des ölhaltigen Colosans, dass wir ja auch noch morgens und abens einflößen müssen. Trotzdem werde ich die Pfotenlösung zuletzt <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen, glaube ich.
5. Karo isst komischerweise gerne das benutzte Heu aus dem Heusud. Sonst nix, aber dieses Zueg. Weil sie Heusud <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g. Laut TA wäre auch das okay, Hauptsache sie isst das Heu. Aber das ist doch dann nass??? Wie würdet ihr da entscheiden?

Hast du es schon<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l versucht, die <span class="markcol">Spspan>itze der <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze abzuschneiden (mit einem Feuerzeug bekommt <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n die Kanten schön glatt) und so das CC einzugeben? So komme ich mit 1ml <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen sehr gut klar - <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n legt sich einfach einige zurecht und gibt das vorsichtig und langsam ein.
Solange das nasse Heu ganz frisch ist, <span class="markcol">spspan>richt meiner Meinung nach nichts dagegen, ihr das zu lassen, wenn es das einzige ist, was sie nimmt. Achte aber darauf, dass es wirklich frisch ist, nicht muffig riecht oder so. Je mehr sie von selbst frisst, desto seltener musst du zufüttern, also hat sie weniger Stress. Da kannst du sie dann ruhig <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l mit den frischen Kräutern etwas ärgern, in dem du vor der Nase rumwedelst.
Ganz wichtig ist noch, dass du dich beruhigst, bevor du zu ihr gehst. Du trägst wenn du aufgeregt bist erheblich zu ihrem Stres<span class="markcol">spspan>egel bei. Also tief durchatmen, etwas ent<span class="markcol">spspan>annen und dann erst versuchen zupäppel - auch wenn sich das für uns leicht sagt, ich weiß  |

Ok, folgender Stand:
1. habe eine TA-Praxis aufgetan, die nicht ganz, aber wenigstens ein bisschen in der Nähe ist. Waren jetzt erst<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l ohne Karo dort, um uns einen Eindruck zu <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen. Die <span class="markcol">Spspan>rechstundenhilfe war viel netter und ich habe mich <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l verstanden gefühlt. Morgen früh haben wir Termin und ich hoffe wir bekommen die Nacht ganz rum. Heute abend wollte ich ihr die Fahrt durch den Feierabendverkehr nicht zumuten.
2. Karo kann sich ein kleines bißchen für Hipp Bio Brei Apfel Banane begeistern. Wie viel darf ich da so in 5 ml Critical Care reinmischen?
Vielleicht klappt es dann besser mit der Annahme.
3. wir haben eine größere <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze in der Apotheke geholt, vielleicht klappt es damit besser, wenn Punkt 2 nicht funktioniert.
Vorhin hat sie von alleine 2 Hauhalme gegessen. Das war der schönste Moment des heutigen Tages.

Apfel und Banane enthalten ordentlich Zucker. Aber im Moment ist erst <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l wichtig, dass Karo überhaupt etwas zu sich nimmt. Daher würde ich so wenig wie möglich untermischen, aber so viel wie nötig, dass sie freiwillig futtert.
Wenn sie ab und an Kräuter beknabbert, biete ihr die ruhig immer <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l wieder an (gern auch etwas penetranter, wie von Alex beschrieben).
Ganz wichtig wäre, dass sie weiterhin böbbelt - ist das der Fall? |

da habe ich immer noch etwas <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>genweh bei, aber lasse es jetzt wie von euch empfohlen zu
-grade isst sie mit Inbrunst ihre Hanfunterlage -da stand <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l drauf er sei verdaulich, ich hoffe, das ist eine zuverlässige Herstellerangabe -oder soll ich den jetzt entziehen?
Critical Care geht immernoch nicht so gut, aber ich versuche dabei mehr zu ent<span class="markcol">spspan>annen und die große <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze war ein kleines bisschen besser -danke für den Tipp.
Gibt es noch Vorschläge oder soll ich nun in Hoffnung auf freiwillige Teilnahme den Apfel-Banane-Brei-Anteil im CC noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l erhöhen?

Hallo Psycho,ich will dir <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l schreiben wie ich das bei meiner Luna mit dem zufüttern <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>che.
Punkt 1 ist ,sie <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g kein CC, also habe ich mir Rodi Care Instand geholt. Das menge ich so an das es <span class="markcol">spspan>ritzengängig ist.
Dann nehme ich Luna auf den Schoß, mit ihrem Hintern vor meinen Bauch und halte ihre beiden Vorderpfoten fest. Neben mir steht ein Behälter mit dem Rodizeug und die ersten 1ml sind schon aufgezogen.
Dann führe ich die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze an der Seite ,nicht an den Schneidezähnen rein und drücke ab, aber vorsichtig. Dann ziehe ich die nächste <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze auf und halte sie dabei fest. Ich nehme nur die 1ml <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritzen weil sie schön dünn sind und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n kann sie weit genug ins Mäulchen schieben.
Das klappt wunderbar.
Bei Medikamenten knie ich mich hin und nehme sie zwischen meine Oberschenkel, damit sie den Boden unter ihren Pfötchen behält und wieder die Vorderpfötchen festhalten. Die Oberschenkel natürlich etwas herzhaft zusammen drücken, sonst haut sie dir ab.
Versuche es <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l und schön ruhig dabei bleiben. Ich <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>che erst was anderes im Gehege und im passenden Moment schnapp ich sie mir.

Ich werde morgen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l die Tierärztin fragen, ob <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n auf anderes als CC umstellen kann.
Auch nach deiner Erklärung werde ich es <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l versuchen. Bisher habe ich es immer auf dem Boden versucht. Der Witz ist: wir sind zu zweit und trotzdem nicht so fähig. Wobei Karo auch echt wehrhaft ist.
Ich hoffe, dass die Ärztin morgen gut ist und wir das Zufüttern mit mehr Übung besser hinbekommen.

Hallo, ich hab bis jetzt nur mitgelesen.
Zum füttern hab ich auch noch 2 Vorschläge.
Wir setzen das Häschen auf einen Tisch und einer hält fest und der andere kniet sich so vor den Tisch, dass er das Schnäuzchen gut sehen kann, um die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze gut einführen zu können. der Tisch hat dabei 2 Funktionen: der Mümmler sitzt sicher mit allen Vieren auf dem Tisch und andererseits traut er sich nicht runter zu <span class="markcol">spspan>ringen, weil es ihm/ihr zu hoch ist.
Oder: Ihr wickelt ihn etwas straffer ih ein Handtuch und einer legt ihn sich dann so an die Brust, dass das Köpfchen auf der Schulter aufliegt und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n so auch gut ans Mäulchen kommt. Allerdings ist das natürlich nicht grad ne natürliche Körperhaltung und es kann auch passieren, dass das T-Shirt hinterher gelocht ist 
Möglich ist natürlich auch ne Kombi aus beidem. Ins Handtuch wickeln und auf den Tisch setzen. Viel Erfolg!  |

Darauf dass ein Kaninchen auch bei Angst auf dem Tisch sitzen bleibt, würde ich nicht vertrauen. Falls ihr ein Kaninchen auf den Tisch setzt, dann muss sichergestellt sein, dass es diese Entscheidung nicht selbst treffen kann (also festhalten bitte!).

Hallo ihr Lieben,
wir waren ja heute bei einem anderen TA. Der hat sich die Zähne genau angeschaut und dann an einem Backenzahn was abgeschliffen, er meinte das könnte mit ursächlich sein. Warum die erste TÄ sich diese Mühe nicht ge<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht hat, weiß ich nicht.
Er meinte der Bauch fühle sich ok an.
Kot wird untersucht.
Außerdem hat er uns eine <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze mitgegeben, mit der das CC einflößen besser geklappt hat. Ich nehme sie jetzt auf den Schoß und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>rkus führt die <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze ein, das ging vorhin ganz gut.
Jetzt geben wir ihr alle 5 Stunden CC 7ml, vielleicht erhöhen wir jetzt auch wenn es weiter gut klappt mit dieser <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze.
Sie wiegt 1,3 Kilo.
Dazwischen bekommt sie ihr vom Heusud genässtes Heu und Dill und Petersilie.
Karo ist jetzt zeimlich fertig und ich hoffe, der Stress schwächt sie nicht zu sehr und vor allem, dass sie das CC gut verträgt.
Denn die letzten Böbbel kamen heute morgen, das könnte echt mehr sein und besser flutschen :-(

Wenn sie sich nicht von alleine bewegt, dann kannst du sie auch vorsichtig zur Bewegung animieren - aber nicht übertreiben.
Wie viel futtert sie denn von den Kräutern? Und in welchen Mengen kannte sie vorher Kräuter? Du kannst schon einiges geben, wenn sie die selbst und freiwillig nimmt. Es ist im Moment wichtig, dass sie überhaupt wieder freiwillig gut futtert, damit du das päppeln einstellen kannst.
Hast du es auch schon mit anderem zartem Grün, wie Möhrchengrün oder Löwenzahn probiert? |

Gut, dann versuche ich sie <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l etwas zu bewegen. Sie nimmt eh schon vor uns reißaus.
Zu deiner Frage: Kräuter bekommt Karo nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise so ca. 2 Stengel Dill und 1 Petersilie jeden bis alle 2 Tage. Basilikum ab und zu 1 Stengel.
Auf Möhrengrün fahren unsere Häschen leider nicht ab und Löwenzahn wächst bei uns Stadtmenschen nur am Wegrand, also mit viel Hundeverkehr und Abgasen.
Auf alles was sie sonst neben dem Heu so bekommen
(Karotten, Fenchel, Paprika, Zucchini, Gurke) hat sie gar keine Lust und ich bin auch immer unsicher was ich ihr davon anbieten darf (okay, Paprika nicht).
Den Salat (Eisberg, Eichblatt) habe ich ihr noch gar nicht angeboten, weil die erste TÄ meinte, er könnte wegen des Wassers die Anschoppung verursacht haben.
Was sie sonst sehr lieben und 1-2 x / Woche bekommen,ist ein Kohrabiblatt von der <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>rktfrau. Ist das zu starke Aufgasneigung (siehe eure Futterliset auf der Homepage) oder darf ich ihr eines anbieten? Eigentlich sagt ihr ja einstimmig: alles was reingeht von alleine ist gut, aber das auch?

In deiner Liste sind nur knollige Gemüse. Was gibt es denn da noch, was sie <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g und kennt?
Ich bin mit Kräutern nicht ganz so <span class="markcol">spspan>arsam. Meine bekommen in der Regel einen ganzen Topf zum "niedermähen". Leider wächst mein selbstgezogenes langsamer, als sie es vernichten, daher auch gekaufte Kräuter.
Wenn sie den Salat nor<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>lerweise immer völlig problemlos verträgt, dann kann ich mir kaum vorstellen, dass er an sich plötzlich für die Probleme verantwortlich ist, dann viel mehr, dass etwas dran war, das verantwortlich ist. |

Buscopan ist krampflösend und somit vermindert es die Darmmotorik (die ein Kaninchen sowieso fast nicht hat), sodass es im Prinzip den Darm lahm legt. Das stimmt. Jedoch findet bei Kaninchen der größte Teil des Weitertran<span class="markcol">spspan>orts über die Bewegung und vorallem Futter Nachschub statt.
Schokino hat es unter Rück<span class="markcol">spspan>rache auch schon<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l bekommen, da es das Allgemeinbefinden dann bessert und es hat keine Schäden hinterlassen. Wichtig ist nur die ausreichende Schmerzmittel Versorgung, dass Futter aufgenommen wird und die <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ssage um den Chymus weiter zu tran<span class="markcol">spspan>ortieren, sowie ein bisschen Bewegung. Du musst dir wegen des Buscopan also keine akuten sorgen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen. |

Also von den blättrigen Sachen kennt und mochte sie bisher Fenchelgrün, Basilikum, Eisbergsalat, hellen Eichblattsalat, Stangensellerie. Ich habe auch schon ab und an Löwenzahnblätter gegeben wenn ich wandern war, aber selten. aber auch das kam super an. und eben die Kohlrabiblätter, deren größter Fan sie ist.
Grade habe ich ihr davon ein kleines bisschen gegeben, das <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>mpft sie echt weg wie nix.
Ich gebe ehrlich zu, dass ich mich bisher nicht an Kohl herangetraut habe und es die Kleinen noch nicht bekommen haben. Ich hatte immer Bedenken wegen irgendwelcher Aufgasgeschichten -die wir noch nicht mit ihr hatten, aber von denen ich gelesen hatte.
Auch mit den Kohlrabiblättern war ich deshalb bisher so <span class="markcol">spspan>arsam (2 in der Woche pro Kaninchen).
als jetzt noch die erste TÄ meinte, keinen Salat mehr zu geben, habe ich mich daran nicht mehr getraut. Ich habe das dann auch so intrepretiert, dass zuviel grün jetzt blöd wäre egal ob Kräuter oder kohlrabiblätter oder Salat. Und dass es jetzt nur auf die Rohfaser ankommt.
Da bin ich echt froh, dass ihr das ein wenig anders beurteilt. Ich werde ihr dann jetzt mehr grün geben,oder? Und werde heute Nacht vielleicht <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l im hundefreien Teil des Stadtparks nach Löwenzahn schauen.

Wenn du dir schwer tust mit Löwenzahn, hast du eine Möglichkeit, an frische Zweige (Hasel, Apfel oder so ranzukommen)? Häufig findet <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n da ja in Parks etwas. Kennt sie die überhaupt?
Ich bin der Meinung, dass alles was sie von alleine futtert das richtige sein muss, denn ihr Gefühl sagt ihr, dass das gerade geht. Kaninchen (allgemein alle Tiere) sind "vernünftig" genug um zu wissen, was gerade gut tut und was nicht. Hab da ein wenig Vertrauen darauf, dass sie weiß, was sie will. Sie stellt das futtern ja nicht völlig ein, sondern nimmt bevorzugt die leicht verdaulichen Kräuter.
Nebenbei bemerkt hat Frischfutter auch ordentlich Rohfaser (Salat zwar nicht so viel wie die gröberen Blattgemüse), die du ihr nicht erst aufzwingen musst |

So ihr Lieben, es gibt Neuigkeiten:
Karo hat gegessen. Und zwar Blätter von der Staudensellerie, ein bißchen Zucchini und Dill. Fenchel will sie leider partout nicht.
Bei der Karotte hat sie so herzhaft zugebissen, dass wir das Gefühl haben, da würde sie jetzt echt viel von essen. Wieviel würdet ihr euren Kaninchen nach 3 Tagen Abstinenz davon zugeben?
Wenn sie überm Berg ist werde ich Radiccio und Chicoree ergänzen, aber bisher kennt sie's noch nicht.
Sie hat auch grade 7 Heuhalme gemümmelt, was mich hoch erfreut.
Jetzt habe ich eine ganz wichtige Frage: eigentlich wäre jetzt die nächste CC-Ration angesagt. Wir haben die Mengen pro Ration nach der Mindestmenge die ein Nahrungsverweigerer braucht berechnet. Über den Tag verteilt alle 5 Stunden. Sollen wir die jetzt trotzdem geben oder noch zuwarten oder reduzieren?

Wenn sie freiwillig futtert, dann musst du nicht mehr päppeln. Solange die Menge nicht zu winzig ist, kannst du sie einfach <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen lassen. Wenn es wieder weniger wird, kannst du mit dem Futter noch etwas vor ihrer Nase wedeln.

Das Problem ist, dass ich überhaupt kein Gefühl habe. Denn auch am Mittwoch hätte ich nie damit gerechnet, dass es ihr so schnell so schlecht geht.

Also, sie isst von ganz alleine ohne Zutun nur bestimmte Kräuter (Dill, Petersilie und Basilikum). Kohlrabiblätter und Eisbergsalat würde sie bestimmt einen ganzen Berg essen, wenn wir es unbegrenzt gäben.
Aber ich muss es schon direkt vor sie hinlegen, darauf zu läuft sie nicht.
Frischfutter hat sie heute noch gar nicht gegessen (karotte, Fenchel, Sellerie)
Mit dem Heu nur einzelne Halme, die wir ihr richtiggehend aufdrängen müssen. Dann erst isst sie sie, <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l aber <span class="markcol">spspan>uckt sie sie gleich wieder aus.
Bewegung findet gar nicht statt. Sie hockt nur da. Ich versuche sie zwar zu animieren, aber sie hat keine Lust. Auf uns beide ist sie eh nicht gut zu <span class="markcol">spspan>rechen :-(

Hi,
also wenn bei mir ein Kaninchen immer wieder selbst frisst, dann päppel ich nicht. Der Päppelbrei stopft auch und <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht sehr satt, darunter kann der Appetit leiden.
Wenn sie also immer wieder kleine Portionen frisst, dann ist das gut.
Es klingt, als würde sie Kräuter und Blättriges mögen, super. Wenn Du also meinst es ist wieder Päppel-Zeit, dann wedel ihr damit vor der Nase.
Weniger schön ist, das sie sich nicht bewegen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>g. Hier würde ich mich weiter als Ani<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>teur versuchen. sie bekommt noch mit der <span class="markcol">Spspan>ritze das Colosan, was sie hasst.
Das Traumeel nimmt sie besser an, vom Löffel in Heusud aufgelöst.
Mit dem Animieren versuche ich, klappt aber eher schlecht als recht. Sie rennt nicht <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l mehr vormir weg. Wenn ich sie anfasse, hat sie inzwischen Angst.

Wie viel päppelst du im Moment noch? Kann es sein, dass sie einfach davon schon satt ist?
Das Gefühl kommt mit der Zeit schon. Wenn sie wenigstens etwas von alleine futtert und du sie noch animieren kannst, etwas mehr zu nehmen, dann wird der Hunger schon wieder kommen.

Schokino nimmt Rodikolan freiwillig, aber der ist eh eine ziemliche Ausnahme, er liebt alles was aus <span class="markcol">spspan>ritzen kommt, aber die Regel ist die Freiwillige Aufnahme von Rodikolan eher nicht. |

Guten Abend ihr Lieben,
Karo isst inzwischen viel Heu. Es kommen auch gut Böbbels.
Wir waren ein bisschen Löwenzahnblätter sammeln und Chicoree. Da sie beides vorher noch nicht hatten, haben wir ihr nur 1 Blatt und Chicoree 1/2 Blatt gegeben. Beides findet sie aber super. Wie schnell darf <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n da die Dosis erhöhen?
Denn ihr gewohntes -Karotte, Fenchel, Paprika, Salat- isst sie gar nicht mehr.
Weiterhin will sie sich gar nicht bewegen. Das Essen isst sie erst wenn <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n es ihr unter die Nase hält. Wir haben im Kaninchenzimmer einen Doppelstockkäfig, da sitzt sie die ganze Zeit unten drin. Geht nur <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l raus aufs Klo dann wieder zurück. Auch auf dem Balkon verkriecht sie sich in ein Eck und bleibt da bis ich sie wieder reinschubse. Soll ich das Klo weiter weg stellen, damit sie sich mehr bewegt oder ist das zu verwirrend?
Morgen früh geht's noch<<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l zum TA. Habt ihr noch Anregungen was wir noch abklären sollten wenn wir dort sind?
eigentlich ist auch bei beiden Kleinen am <span class="markcol">spspan>ätestens 20.09. Myxo und RHD-Impfung fällig. Weiß nicht ob ich die Kleine in diesem Zustand impfen lassen soll?

Eigentlich darf <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n nur nicht gleich in Unmengen füttern.
Wegen der Impfung <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>ch dir keinen Stress, ein paar Wochen rüber sind nicht der Weltuntergang, der Impfschutz ist ja dann nicht plötzlich weg, sondern nur die Zahl der Antikörper beginnt langsam zu sinken übrig jetzt 80 oder 75% ist in dem fall unrelevant. |

bekommt sie noch ein Schmerzmittel? Wenn sie sich gar so verkriecht, wäre das unter Umständen sinnvoll.
Löwenzahn könnt ihr ruhig noch etwas mehr geben, wenn sie den jetzt frisst.
Eine Impfung würde ich jetzt keinesfalls geben lassen. Da der Impfschutz auch nicht von heute auf morgen weg ist, ist das kein Problem, sie erst in ein paar Wochen impfen zu lassen.
Ein erneutes Röntgenbild wäre unter Umständen sinnvoll, um zu sehen, was gerade im Bauch los ist. |

Könnte der TA ihr morgen da auch was <span class="markcol">spspan>ritzen, was nehmt ihr da so?
Oder welches Schmerzmittel nehmen eure Kleinen freiwillig auf?

Meines Wissens ist Traumeel lediglich ein homöpathisches Präparat und kein Medikament, das den Schmerz schnell ausschaltet.
Bei Bauchschmerzen hat sich Novalgin als sehr hilfreich erwiesen. Vielleicht frisst sie dann auch besser. |

Einen schönen guten Abend,
heute waren wir ja erneut beim Tierarzt. Er meinte der Bauch fühlt sich gut an und ein Röntgenbild davon will er am Freitag <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>chen, da sollen wir wiederkommen.
Er hat Metacam mitgegeben. Er meinte, da er den Zahn am Samstag abgeschliffen habe, könne es sein, dass sie Schmerzen davon habe.
So ganz zufrieden bin ich aber nicht: Sie frisst zwar weiterhin Blättriges und Kräuter. <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">Maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n merkt ihr aber an, dass sie richtig Hunger hat, <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>nche Sachen aber einfach nicht nimmt selbst bei großem Hunger. Karotte oder Paprika zum Bei<span class="markcol">spspan>iel.
Dann wiederum nagt sie ab und zu an den Zweigen, die wir geben.
Was kann das denn sein? Mein Eindruck ist echt, sie möchte gerne mehr essen aber der Mund lässt es nicht zu. Aber die Zähne hat er doch untersucht, also mit so einer Klammer reingeschaut und den einen Backenzahn abgeschliffen.
Vom Gewicht her wiegt sie noch 1,3kg, hat also seit Samstag nur 50g abgenommen.

Wenn du ganz sicher sein willst, musst du Freitag auch um ein Röntgenbild des Kopfes bitten.
Ansonsten ist es gut dass der Bauch besser wird und es ordentlich und beständig weiter geht. |

Hallo ihr Lieben,
ich gebe euch <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>l ein update. Karo hat angefangen, ganze kleine Karottenstücke zu essen, was toll ist.
Der TA hatte sie am Freitag auch wie von euch geraten geröntgt und gemeint, keine Zahnwurzelprobleme und auch der Bauch war tip top. Ich habe den Bauch mittlerweile als Hauptursache ausgeschlossen, ihre Böbbels sind besser dennn je.
An einem Schneidezahn oben sah es leicht gerötet / blutig aus. Der TA meinte wir sollen Metacam weitergeben und dass es auch von dem Mund<span class="markcol">spspan>reizer gereizt sein könnte.
Sie wirkt wieder fitter -nicht ganz die alte, aber viiieeeel besser.
Nun habe ich aber bemerkt, dass Karo beidseitig unterm Kinn kahle Stellen hat. Das sieht <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n nur wenn sie Männchen <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>cht oder <<span class="markcol">spspan>an <<span class="markcol">spspan>an class="markcol">classspan class="markcol">spspan>an>="markcol">maspan class="markcol">spspan>an>n sich unter ihr Köpfchen legt.
Sie scheint keine Schmerzen zu haben, aber das sieht nicht so schön aus.
Kann es sein, dass sie sich nach dem Colosan zu doll geputzt hat?
Kennt ihr das?
So oder so müssen wir wohl wieder zum TA -und ich hatte echt gehofft, das nimmt jetzt ein Ende

Hallo, bei meiner Lucy ist das auch immer mit den kahlen
Stellen unter dem Kinn. Ich hab beobachtet, dass sie da immer ganz
wild putzt und zupft, wenn ich ihr Medis gegeben habe und
ein bisserl was kleben geblieben ist, auch wenn ich gut
weg gewischt habe. Wächst aber immer wieder gut nach, wenn
alles wieder gut ist. Ich schau halt drauf, dass sich nichts
entzündet oder gerötet ist. Ist denke ich nicht so wild,
es stört sie halt, wenn versehentlich etwas verschmiert wurde
oder nach Medizin riecht.
