Sein Zustand scheint etwas besser zu werden, immerhin wird er nicht schlechter. Heute soll er nochmal zum Arzt und weitere Infusionen bekommen.

Die beiden anderen Kaninchen sowie mein Loewenkoepfchen (die aber nicht mit ihm zusammen ist) zeigen bisher keine Symptome. Nun habe ich gelesen, dass man den anderen Hasen auch vorbeugend Panacur vera<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eichen soll (es soll bei gesunden Kaninchen unschaedlich sein), worauf ich die Tieraerztin auch heute ansprechen moechte. Meine Frage nun, habt ihr eine Ahnung wie lange die anderen Panacur bekommen sollen und in welcher Dosierung?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Die Meinungen gehen etwas auseinander bei der Frage, ob Partnertiere auch mit Panacur behandelt werden sollen, obwohl sie kein akutes EC-Geschehen haben. Denn viele Tiere tragen diesen Erreger sowieso in sich ohne das es jemals zu einem akuten EC-Geschen kommt.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich persönlich habe meine anderen beiden Tiere mitbehandelt und zwar über 7 Tage.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Eine Trennung hätte eigentlich nicht not getan, da wie schon angesprochen viele Tiere (es sollen ca. 85% sein) den Erreger sowieso in sich tragen und damit latent infiziert sind.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Natürlich ist eine Trennung notwendig, wenn das Tier zu sehr gejagt oder gemoppt wird, oder aufgrund von Koordinationschwierigkeiten oder anderen Einschränkungen (Z.Bsp. Rollen) nicht in einem Gehege bleiben kann.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich gebe meinen anderen Hasen nun vorbeugend für 3 Tage Panacur, so hat es die Tierärztin empfohlen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Meinem Hazel scheint es von Tag zu Tag besser zu gehen. Als die Krankheit aus<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>ach hatte er hauptsächlich Gleichgewichtsstörungen und ist bei jedem Putzversuch umgekippt, manchmal sogar auf den Rücken mit allen vier Beinchen nach oben. Das war so schlimm anzusehen, der arme Kleine. Was mir noch aufgefallen war, dass er sein Köpfchen immer zur rechten Seite geneigt hat.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Von der Tierärztin hat er dann Panacur, Dexamethazone, Penicilin und Baytril bekommen, Panacur und Baytril bekommt er seitdem von mir täglich. Ich glaube fest daran, dass er wieder gesund wird, mir ist echt ein Stein vom Herzen gefallen als wir gemerkt haben, dass es bergauf geht. Gerade habe ich gesehen wie er problemlos Männchen gemacht hat Es ist wirklich unglaublich, wie sehr man an seinen Kaninchen hängen kann!!!

Er wird den Winter dann leider drinnen ver<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>ingen müssen - sonst könnte es auch noch zu einem Schnupfenaus<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>uch kommen, denn an EC erkrankte Tiere haben sowieso ein geschwächtes Immunsystem und sind daher noch empfindlicher.

Jedenfalls ist der Garten so groß, dass sie sich aus dem Weg gehen können. Mit Hoppel scheint es auch wieder ok zu sein, aber vor Niki hat er unheimliche Angst, wenn ich nur wüßte wieso..
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wegen dem Temperaturunterschied zu draussen ist es hier relativ ok, ich wohne in South Carolina (USA), wo wir tagsüber noch bis zu 20 Grad haben, also ideales Hasenwetter

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Mir ist noch eine Sache in den Sinn gekommen, die ich hier nachfragen wollte. In diesem Sommer (die Sommer sind hier sehr heiss) hat Hazel einen extremen Fellwechsel gehabt, d.h. mitunter waren richtig kahle Stellen in seinem Fell (siehe Foto, der kleine <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>aune ). Ich habe das auf den heißen Sommer zurückgeführt, obwohl meine anderen beiden Hasen keinen so extremen Fellwechsel hatten. Das Fell war bei Hazel zwar nachgewachsen, aber die betroffenen Stellen haben irgendwie anders ausgesehen, schwierig zu beschreiben, man hat die Abgrenzungen zu den Stellen später immer noch gesehen. Sein Fell wurde jedenfalls nie wieder so wie zuvor.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Jetzt nach der Medikamentengabe fällt mir auf, dass sein Fell wieder richtig schön wird. Nun meine Frage: Kann es sein, dass dieser extreme Fellausfall schon ein Vorbote für E. Cuniculi war? Ich habe irgendwo online gelesen, dass Fellausfall auch ein Symptom dafür sein kann?

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>klar meinte ich ml.ich weiß das es für Krümel total Streß ist.Nur nach 3 Tage oraler Medi wurde es ja schlimmer.Heute war es wirklich schlimm.Sie wehrte sich wirklich mit allen vieren das Antibiotikum zu schlucken!Sie knurrte auch.Die TÄ meinte das ist ein drohen.Ist nicht so einfach für uns.Ist der erste Hase und haben natülich nicht so viel Ahnung.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Krümel rührte sich beim TA gar nicht,lag nur aufn Rücken.Zuhause im Käfig saß sie gleich wieder und fraß etwas.Dann war erst mal schicht,rollte sich nur und lag dann auf der Seite und war völlig platt.jetzt erst mal abwarten.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>ich würde den Käfig auch zu einem Teil mit einem Handtuch abdecken, damit es etwas geschützter und dunkler ist. Das wirkt beruhigend.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Dann sollte sie auch an einem ruhigen Ort stehen, Aufregung, Lärm und Unruhe sollte unbedingt vermieden werden.

Das mit dem Chloramphenicol haben wir ja nun geklärt ... aber das Panacur macht mir immer noch Sorgen ...

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>die TÄ ist nur 500 Meter weg.Also mit dem Auto ein klaks.Kommen auch sofort dran.Heute hat die TÄ sie auch nicht rausgenommen.2 Spritzen und ab Nachhause.Sie hat super viel gefressen und immer selbstständig Wasser getrunken.Sie lag viel auf dem Rücken und reagierte nicht.Wir haben das Gefühl das sie Angst vor unseren Händen hat.Denn wenn wir sie nur beobachten,sitzt sie und putzt sich auch.Sie hat ja die letzten 8 Tage auch viel durchgemacht.Krümel knurrt auch bei den Spritzen.Heute Abend hatten wir die Nase voll.Oberkäfig ab und sie hielt ihre Nase raus und wollte raus!Also vorsichtig raus gehoben.Was macht Krümel,ein zwei rollen und dann ab duch die Wohnung.Sie reagierte auf rufen und kam auch gleich.Super Neugierig und immer dabei.Was soll man da noch denken wie es weitergeht!?Es ist unser erster Hoppel und dann das!Wir kennen uns mit Hunden und Vögeln aus... aber Kaninchen!

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>danke für die Nachfrage.Ich hatte Fr.viel Steß mit Krümel.Habe nicht die Box genommen sondern ein Weidekorb zur TÄ.Klappte im nachhinein besser!Sie war völlig fertig nur am zittern und lag auf den Rücken.Viel Streicheleinheiten und dann ein Schups so das sie wirklich im Korb saß.2 Spritzen ohne geknurre.Zuhause dann laufen lassen, was Krümel super fand!Jetzt muß ich eine Sache dazusagen und auch ein Fehler zugeben!

Super, dass es heute so gut geklappt hat. Ein an E.C. erkranktes Kaninchen hat einen höheren Energiebedarf als ein gesundes Tier. Das sehe ich auch jeden Tag bei meiner Hermi. Die futtert fast das Doppelte als früher.  Nur so kann sie ihr Gewicht halten.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Biete alles an, was gerne gefressen und gut vertragen wird. Geraspeltes hochkalorisches Gemüse (Möhren, Pastinaken, Petersilienwurzel, Knollensellerie, Fenchel) und ein bissel Obst (Banane, Apfel.....). Kräuter werden gerne genommen, was Du ja schon gemerkt hast. Auch Möhrengrün oder Chicoree ist oft der Hit bei Patienten. Und hier darf es ausnahmsweise auch ein bissel ungesund von der Ernährung her zugehen....Zwieback mit Apfelmuss vermatscht, Trockenfutter..... Aber bitte nur eben Sachen, die gut vertragen werden.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>heute sind 14 Tagen rum nachdem bei Krümel e.c. festgestellt wurde.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sie muß noch eine weile Medi nehmen.Seit heute auch wieder Cortison.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Die TÄ ist eigentlich mit Krümel zufrieden,leider aber nicht mit dem rollen und dem Schiefkopf.Deswegen Cortison und auch ein paar Tage mehr das AB.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Seit heute Abend finde ich, es geht wirklich richtig aufwärts!!Krümel rennt durch die Wohnung und macht alles unsicher.Wird auch wieder frecher.Heute wirklich ihre Möhre weggemümmelt.Es war ein Genuß ihr dabei zu zusehen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Völlige Entclass="markcol">spannung wenn sie ihre Streicheleinkeiten einholt oder im Häuschen liegt!Wirklich eine Freude für Jana und uns.Hoffe sie übersteht das alles ganz gut und wir haben noch ganz lange viel Freude an Krümel!!

Haben Krümel nicht der TÄ vorgestellt,wegen der eisernen Kälte
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>hier und den Streß.Ist auch völlig ok für die TÄ.Nach tel.Vereinbarung wird ab morgen das Cortison und das AB weggelassen.Panacur und Vitamin B wird weiterhin eingenommen.Für Krümel ist es nur Streß,sie schluckt es kaum.Jetzt muß man sehen wie es ihr geht, ohne AB.Und das ist so ein bischen meine Sorge!!Wenn Krümel sehr aufgeregt ist oder vor Freude den Kopf zu hoch hält rollt sie sich!!Die TÄ meinte das dürfte nicht mehr sein.(Das rollen)Sie tut es doch noch sehr oft!Wenn sie rollt leckt sie sich ab oder ist auch mal recht schnell wieder auf den Beinen.Man kann es an ihren Augen sehen wenn es losgeht und auch wieder vorbei ist.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>AB ist nur bei Entzündungen wirksam - das Rollen würde ich jetzt aber nicht auf eine akute Entzündung zurückführen. Insofern ist das Weglassen des AB's völlig okay. Ebenso wie das Cortison.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Bei E.C. Kaninchen ist es nicht ungewöhnlich oder selten, dass eine Behinderung oder Einschränkung zurückbleibt, mit der die Tiere aber gut zurecht kommen und die sie mit sehr zeit immer besser unter Kontrolle bekommen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Nach 5 Wochen Intensivbehandlung konnten wir Vitam B und Panakur absetzen.Ihr geht es super!Sie ist wieder frech wie Oskar.Krümel hat den Schiefhals behalten und rollt sich manchmal.Jana kann sie auch wieder auf den Arm nehmen und Krümel genießt stundenlang die Steicheleinheiten.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Seit Donnerstag ist er nun in Behandlung, und an seinem "Rechtsdrall beim Hoppeln sowie seinem schiefen Kopf hat sich bis jetzt nichts verbessert. Das linke Auge ist zudem entzündet und eitert, dafür soll er noch Floxal Augensalbe bekommen. Allerdings ist er wiederl lebhafter geworden und liegt gerne ausgestreckt und entclass="markcol">spannt da; vor der Behandlung hat er nur zusammengekauert in seiner Toilette gesessen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Allerdings bekommt er Baytril, und hier habe ich gelesen, daß das nicht geeignet ist.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Er hat das entzündete Auge, was aber von einer Zahnfehlstellung kommen soll. Das wollte nie richtig heilen bzw. geht immer wieder von vorne los; auch die Backenzähne sind betroffen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Dann war er plötzlich wacklig auf den Beinen und hatte den schiefen Kopf; außerdem war er weniger lebhaft, wie oben schon beschrieben. Sein Appetit hat allerdings zu keiner Zeit nachgelassen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Vorhin hat er versucht, meinen Ärmel anzufressen. So zeigt er manchmal, daß er etwas zu fressen haben möchte. Auch das Auge sieht schon besser aus.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ü<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>igens ist der Kopf nicht so stark verdreht, um 45 Grad vielleicht, eher weniger.

| Das er (wie heißt denn der kleine Schnuffel überhaupt ) gut frisst und munter ist, ist ein gutes Zeichen und viel wert.

| Er heißt einfach Flausch, weil er besonders flauschig ist. Ein besserer name ist uns nicht eingefallen.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Denn wenn eine überlange Zahnwurzel auf den Tränen-Nasen-Kanal drückt, dann wird es immer wieder oder dauerhaft zu Beschwerden kommen - auch besteht die Möglichkeit, dass sich dann ein Abzeß bildet.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Nur das regelmäßige Kürzen verhindert das leider nicht.

| 1. Das hängt immer davon ab, wie stark die neurologischen Ausfallerscheinungen sind und ob zusehends eine Besserung eintritt.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Bei einigen Kaninchen sind nur ein paar Gaben, bei anderen muss man vielleicht auch länger behandeln, d.h. die Dauer der Gabe muss auch immer von der Stärke der Erkrankung abhängig gemacht werden.

Mittlerweile bettelt er wie ein Weltmeister und frißt wie ein Scheunendrescher. Außerdem guckt er nicht mehr traurig, ist aber etwas verschmuster geworden und gleichzeitig auch frecher.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich bin neu hier, und bin auf dieses Forum aufmerksam geworden, weil mein Kaninchen Schnuffi an E.C. erkrankt ist.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Zum ersten mal bemerkt das etwas nicht stimmt haben wir am 19.02.2010, daraufhin sind wir sofort zum Tierarzt. Er dachte zuerst an eine Infektion, da die Symptome für E.C. seiner Meinung nach nicht eindeutig waren. Wir bekamen eine Infusion und Antibiotika die wir ihm zu Hause vera<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eichten.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Leider traf keine Besserung ein, daraufhin sind wir nochmal zum Tierarzt, und nach ein wenig drängen bekamen wir die Medikamente für die Behandlung von E.C. Das war am 25.02.2010. Wir geben ihm jetzt täglich Panacur, ein Antibiotikum (ich glaube Baytrill) und Vitamin B.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wir bemerken bereits eine Besserung, er ist viel stärker und aktiver. Er hoppelt auch schon wieder viel stabiler. Wir füttern ihm täglich 90-120ml von dem Critical Care gemischt mit Hipp-Babykarrotten. Das frisst er auch freiwillig, jedoch nur wenn man es mit einer Sprizte vera<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eicht .
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Das Problem ist jetzt, dass er nichts zunimmt, er nimmt nur ab. Ich war gestern nochmal beim Tierarzt und er meinte ich kann das Antibiotika absetzen, dann kehrt der Appetit auch wieder von selber zurück, das werden wir mal probieren, er bekommt es ja eh schon 10 Tage.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Selber frisst er nur kaum was, er mag seit dem kein Heu mehr nur spezielle Kräuter und Gräser die ich handverlesen muss Er frisst gerne Gurken, aber davon will ich ihm nicht zu viel geben und Körner mag er mittlerweile auch wieder, obwohl wir die eigentlich komplett abgesetzt haben. Fenchel frisst er auch hin und wieder. Ausserdem fährt er voll auf <class="markcol">span class="markcol">Brclass="markcol">span>ennessel und Löwenzahn ab, aber davon nimmt er halt auch nicht wirklich viel zu.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Habt ihr noch irgendwelche Ideen, was ich ihm noch vera<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eichen könnte, damit er wieder anfängt zu fressen bzw damit er ein bisschen mehr zunimmt? Das Problem ist nämlich, dass er in der Nacht nichts frisst, und wenn ich ihn in der Nacht füttern will, dann isst er vielleicht 4-5 ml und das wars dann.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Er war ganz wackelig auf den Pfoten konnte kein Männchen mehr machen und hoppelte kaum auf irgendwelche Plateaus, weil er den Absprung nicht schaffte. Der erste Eindruck den der Tierarzt bekommen hatte war Schwäche weil er zu dem Zeitpunkt schon ein bisschen abgenommen hatte. Wir haben ihn dann aber wieder angefüttert und mit den Infusionen vom Tierarzt hatte er wieder ordentlich zugeleget und die Symptome waren noch immer da. Ein tränendes Auge ist noch dazugekommen und manchmal wirkte es so, als ob er Schluckauf hätte. Der ganze Körper zuckte so komisch. Am Anfang war auch der Kopf noch ein bisschen schief, aber kaum merkbar wenn man ihn nicht kennt. Das ist jetzt aber schon wieder weg, Gott sei Dank.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Jetzt ist es so, das er manchmal beim Hoppeln noch ein wenig unbeholfen wirkt, aber er hoppelt wieder. Das hat er vorher nicht gemacht, da lag er nur rum und bewegte sich so wenig wie möglich. Und wenn er sich bewegt hat, war er so wackelig und fiel um, teilweise sogar auf den Rücken. War wirklich furchtbar mitanzusehen.

Auch Selleriegrün, Möhrenkraut, Rübengrün etc. werden gerne gefressen und biete es ihm auch ruhig ordentlich an. Meine Häsin hat sich während ihrer akuten EC-Erkrankung auch nur so ernährt, festes hat sie gar nicht gefuttert.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Du könntest auch versuchen ihm Möhre, Apfel und Co. geraspelt zu servieren, vielleicht nimmt er es dann besser.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Auch Haferflocken sind in so einem Fall völlig okay und geben dringend benötigte Energie.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Gurke ist auch sehr gut und wichtig, damit die Nieren gut gespült werden, da der Erreger auch oftmals die Nieren befällt.

Gurke frisst er ganz gerne, ich hab nur Angst das er davon Durchfall bekommt und noch mehr abnimmt. Haferflocken habe ich gerade eben besorgt, mal sehen wie er darauf reagiert, das kennt er nämlich gar nicht. Karotten frisst er geraspelt nicht, die muss ich in hauchdünne Scheibchen schneiden, dann frisst er sie ein bisschen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wie sieht das ganze eigentlich mit Kolrabi aus, ist es ratsam den zu verfüttern? Nicht das der zu viel aufbläht.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Einen <class="markcol">span class="markcol">Brclass="markcol">span>ei hab ich ihm auch schon gemixt, der schmeckt ihm auch ganz gut. Er besteht aus einem Apfel, Zwieback, Hipp Babykarotten und Critical Care. Davon hat er auf einen Sitz 40 ml verputzt, was doch ganz schön ordentlich ist, weil ich ihn ja auch mindestens alle 2 Stunden damit füttere.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Sein Gewicht liegt jetzt auch schon wieder bei 1130, mal sehen wieviel ich ihn noch anfüttern kann, sodass morgen in der Früh auch noch was da ist von ihm.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Der Kopf ist komplett gerade, da merkt man ihm nichts an, er hat aber Probleme mit dem Gleichgewicht und mit der Koordination. Er muss auch sehr oft klein aufs Klo. Er trinkt selbstständig und er frisst auch, aber nur bestimmte Sachen, wie zB Gurken, Äpfel, Petersilie, Haferflocken. Und davon leider auch nur sehr wenig. Er nimmt das was er zu sich nimmt auch sehr schnell wieder ab. Gestern waren es zB 10 Gramm innerhalb einer Stunde :-(

Ist also keine richtige Zwangsfütterung, wo ich ihm die Spritze in den Mund stecken muss. Er genießt es dann so richtig, wenn er da in meinem Arm liegt und nur mehr fressen muss Zwischendurch gibts zur Auflockerung auch ein paar Streicheleinheiten, dann legt er den Kopf hin und knirscht mit den Zähnen

Wenigstens hatte er noch eine schöne Zeit bei uns, mit viel Platz. Vorher musste er leider in Käfighaltung leben.

| Ja, man hat gar nichts von einer Besserung bemerkt. Es ist nur bergab gegangen, am Ende konnte er kaum noch atmen und lief schon blau an. Unsere Vermutung war am Ende, dass es nicht E.C war sondern ein Schlaganfall, da die Medis gar nicht wirkten. Als wir ihn bekommen haben, da war er schon 3 laut vorheriger Besitzerin, aber er war da schon ein wenig auffällig, er war nicht so aufgeweckt, und kam mit gewissen Oberflächen gar nicht klar. Es fehlte ihm irgendwie an Muskelkraft. Wir haben uns aber nur gedacht, dass er eben so ist, in seiner Art, ein wenig ängstlich halt. Aber auch unser neuer, kompetenter Tierarzt hat gemeint, das er vermutlich vorher schon einen Schlaganfall hatte.

| Hallo. Mein Kaninchen Ida hat ec. Sie bekommt Medizin (Panacur, etc.), nimmt aber jeden Tag mehr ab. sie kriegt <class="markcol">span class="markcol">Brclass="markcol">span>ei mit Getreide und baby<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>ei wegen Gewichtzunahme (siehe <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>oschüre)... und frisst auch seit einigen Tagen wieder Heu und Sellerie. Leider geht ihr Krankheitsverlauf immer auf und ab, und das mit dem Gewicht macht mir echt Angst. Sie kriegt immer 25ml <class="markcol">span class="markcol">Brclass="markcol">span>ei am Tag, wobei sie vor 6,5 Wochen 920g wog und jetzt 660g. :-(

| Es ist mal besser, mal schlechter... vor einigen Wochen konnte sie schon ganz gut sitzen, aber jetzt liegen sie mehr neben dem Körper.. sie sind aber manchaml am "zucken" also nicht so als wenn sie gar nicht s mehr spüren würde.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wenn sie nicht hoppeln kann, dann gibt es auch Probleme mit dem Urinieren und Kotabsetzen, denn sie wird sicherlich in ihren Ausscheidungen liegen, was widerrum zu Entzündungen und weiteren gesundheitlichen Störungen führen wird.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Wieviel Lebensqualität hat das Tier unter solchen Bedingungen...

Stress ist ein Katalysator für die EC-Erreger und begünstigt den Krankheitsverlauf.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Biete ihr von den Sachen, die sie futtert ruhig ordentlich mehr an.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Auch mal eine kleine Portion Haferflocken ist in so einem Fall in Ordnung.

Ich bin natürlich sofort zum Tierarzt gefahren und kam gerade wieder =( Und bin total fertig und es tut so weh, den Kleinen so zu sehen, vor allem, weil man nichts tun kann ......

Sorry wenn ich etwas verwirrt oder so schreibe, ich bin grad nur so fertig =( |

| richtig so....biete ihm alles an was er mag, auch wenn es *ungesund* ist. in dem fall ist es ok und wichtig das er bei kräften bleibt. banane wird auch gern genommen ebenso verschiedene päppel<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eie und obst/gemüse baby<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>eie. |

Sobald du aber merkst, dass der Stress sich negativ auf die Symptome bei deinem Rammler auswirken, dann muss über eine Trennung nachgedacht werden. Denn oftmals sind EC Tiere segr unsicher was dazu führt, dass Stress in der Gruppe oder Ortswechsel ihre Beschwerden verstärken können.

Von hier aus kann man das leider schlecht beurteilen.

| Guten Morgen.....ich musste sie jetzt leider trennen=/ sie ist ihm permanent hinterher gerannt und wollte ihn rammeln, dadurch ist das kopfwackeln heftiger geworden...wenn man ihn dann wieder beruhigt hat ging es etwas besser und ich konnte dann auch etwas schlafen....

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>ist es ratsam, den kleinen in einen käfig zu setzen und diesen abzudecken? heute hat mich meine alte tierärztin angerufen, weil ich in der panik gestern alle nummern angerufen habe die ich kriegen konnte (allerdings ging keiner bisauf die tierklinik dran) und meinte er wäre dann wie 'betrunken' und ein dunkler raum wäre gut.

| Ich weiss ja nicht, wie deine Tiere unterge<class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>acht sind, aber ich würde ihn in eine Transportbox setzen, die mit weichen Unterlagen (z.b. Handtücher) ausgepolstert ist.

| Sie haben einen großen '08/15' Kaninchenkäfig wo Heu, Toilette + Häuschen und Wühlmaterial drin ist...und darum ist ein Gitter, sodass sie raushoppeln können, aber das schafft er gar nicht. Ich habe ihm jetzt den Wühlkäfig ausgepolstert und abgedeckt (eine kürzere Seite ist aber fast offen, er <class="markcol">span class="markcol">brclass="markcol">span>aucht ja auch Luft..) und Wasser reingestellt sowie Heu und Häuschen drin gelassen.
<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Ich habe eben nochmal mit meiner Tierärztin telefoniert und sie hat mit ein anderes Antibiotikum gegeben, weil ich von der Tierklinik ja Baytril bekommen habe, aber sie meinte das wär nicht so gut...und dieses Chloramphenicol sollte auch vermieden werden..Jetzt habe ich Tetraseptin Forte (200mg) Tetracyclin und hoffe, das das gut ist.

<<class="markcol">span class="markcol">BRclass="markcol">span>>Aber bisher frisst er noch relativ gut (viiel Petersilie, etwas Banane, leider Haferflocken...halt weichere Sachen) Ich habe nur Angst, dass er Verstopfung bekommt, deswegen hat mein Freund gerade noch ein paar Babygläschen mit Karotte, Apfel, etc wo möglichst wenig Zucker drin ist geholt (ist Hipp Frühkarotten/Kartoffel und Bebivita Banane/Apfel ok?)..und natürlich einen großen Kräutervorrat für das Wochenende.
